Re: Change of ADSL1 to ADSL2 Service

Thanks Guys, That certainly gives me a better understanding of what will happen when I change over. Yes Corey, the duet line is exactly as you describe. An additional number that allows us to seperate incoming business and personal calls. My understanding is that the call features can only be enable...

Change of ADSL1 to ADSL2 Service

Hi, I am not sure if I am posting this question in the correct Topic but feel free to move it if required. I am currently paying for a 512/128 ADSL1(TELD) service and have noticed recently that my download speeds have increased enormously. Have I been switched over to ADSL2 without any additional co...

Re: VOIP suddenly can't hear outgoing ring, no audio

I got my hopes up but it has gone again.

I tried calling the VOIP DID number from another phone, I can hear the person who answers very clearly, however they cannot hear me very well, it is distorted.

I will send an email to exetel.

Cheers

Re: VOIP suddenly can't hear outgoing ring, no audio

My VOIP is working again. I did raise a fault ticket but while I was waiting, out of desperation, I made some changes to my settings 1/ I changed the SIP Ip address to a domain address sip1.exetel.com.au 2/ I increased the G729 setting to 30ms 3/ I also enabled the Outbound Proxy Server and entered ...

Re: VOIP suddenly can't hear outgoing ring, no audio

I appear to be having the same trouble as others but I have a DID. I don't use the VOIP everyday but I noticed it started happening on Saturday. I have had the phone setup and working fine for the past 6 months. Nothing has changed and I have checked the IP address to be the correct one. My parents ...

Re: VOIP drops out when using Eftpos Terminal

Thanks Guys for your quick response. 1/ Yes, we have got a filter attached to the eftpos machine but I haven't yet tried changing it over for another filter. 2/ Unfortunately, because we run a Chiropractic service we need to use a HICAPS terminal, see link http://www.hicaps.com.au/0,,68220,00.html. ...

VOIP drops out when using Eftpos Terminal

Hi all, I have a problem when using VOIP service with an Eftpos machine. When I am on a VOIP call and one of my employees use the Eftpos machine the phone line goes dead. Currently, we have 512/128 ADSL and are running a NB9W router/modem. The Eftpos machine is connected directly to the phone line w...

Re: Admin fee increase

I am very happy with the service and price that Exetel charge for their ADSL and Voip plans. The $3 doesn't bother me too much but I believe that Credit Card users should pay more than Direct Debit payers. Currently, I pay my account by direct debit but if the admin fee is going to be the same for b...

Re: ADSL2 Naked free VOIP calls

Thanks guys for the help. Yes, I emailed Exetel at voip@exetel.com.au and all is fixed. They are going to credit my VOIP calls for last month onto this month's account. I think Exetel need to automate this procedure on change over to ADSL2+ plans. Looking at some of the other Posts there are quite a...
