Noise on Telephone Line

Hi, Since we have had ADSL1 setup we have had lots of noise on the telephone line and cannot use the ADSL and the phone at the same time. The noise sounds like running water and is difficult to talk to anyone while someone is on the internet. If we disconnect the ADSL line it is fine. Please help! T...

I happy to say that the new modem is functioning well.

Exetel has also agreed to rebate us for the time that we were unable to use the ADSL service.

Peak / Off Peak Data Usage

I have just checked my usage for the month of March and for the first two days I have already exceeded my limit. I have been downloading during the off peak periods but it has been showing up on my peak usage.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Sorry Mr CoreyPlover, I think you are totally wrong. I purchased the modem/router from Exetel as a package when I signed up and it's not my fault if their supplier has quality and service problems. What an absolute "balls up". I just rang Netcomm and waited 30 minutes to talk to someone and when I finally get to talk to someone they tell me that the replacement modem has not been sent out yet. Then I wait another 15 minutes on hold while they talk to their service centre Does anyone understand...

No Modem Yet

A week later and still no sign of the new modem.

I have nearly had a month without a Modem or any broadband service.

I am getting really peed off now.

Just rang Netcomm and they are sending out a replacement modem and supplying a courier bag to return the other one.

Faulty Modem

I called Netcomm and they asked me to return the modem to Sydney. At my expense ($15 registered) I posted it back under warranty. I have just received the modem back, plugged it in and still exactly the same problem. I am not happy, this has cost me for postage as well as time for setup, phone calls...

I have just had the ADSL1 service setup and believe that my brand new NB9W that I purchased with the plan has given up the ghost after 2 days. The modem/router was working fine on Saturday but I went to use it today (monday) the power light is off and so is the ADSL light. The only light still on is...
