Re: How To Improve Mobile Broadband Sales?

I am not sure if I can offer any suggestions on how to improve sales, certainly, it's not my area. However, I can explain why a recent decision we made at work ended up being not Exetel and perhaps that may assist the deliberations. I have used Exetel at home for a number of years now (just on 3 I t...

Re: Add AP to improve WiFi coverage

Thanks guys. I tried your suggestions. There is no security or filtering on any of the devices. DHCP is disabled on the AP.

I can see the LAN and shared folders of a PC on the router from a PC connected to the AP but it can't access the Internet.

Re: Add AP to improve WiFi coverage

Yeah that's what I thought. I'm not trying to use it as a repeater / extender for the WiFi. I want the AP downstairs to manage the WiFi. It is cabled to the router upstairs which handles everything else. Can't seem to work it out though. I don't know if it is incompatibility with the different brand...

Add AP to improve WiFi coverage

Hi there gurus, I have a dead spot in my house in my WiFi coverage. Unfortunately this coincides as the room in which SWMBO mostly wants her laptop to connect. Therefore WAF has become downright 'naggy'. I have tried a few things to no avail. Primary router is a Billion 7404VGP-M. It is upstairs in ...

Re: Plan change assistance

It is only for new users. Why? Because the wholesaler prices things that way, ie giving a rebate to exetel for net new adds.

I am happy whenever the billing is done.

Previous two ISPs were billed anniversary date and the 15th, respectively.

Re: Ported from Optus to Exetel but still getting billed

Was it a full month you were charged by both providers - ie you paid twice for the same month? Or was it perhaps a pro rata for the residual for each month?

Re: Changing between the new optus cap plans...

I've had a look at one of your services, in the ADSL area, you can't change the plan, the message quoted is displayed. However, if you login to the wireless broadband area, the ability to change plans does exist. Thanks JasonM. I discovered my error shortly after posting above. I thought I was logg...

Re: Changing between the new optus cap plans...

Yes mattski, the Optus CAP plans (2x CAP14 and 2 x CAP19) and when I checked just now, I get the same display as shown above. I don't know if It changed today, or if I had a brain fart and looked in the wrong spot - I was sure I logged in to the HSPA account and not ADSL. Anyway, the news is good. M...

Re: Changing between the new optus cap plans...

At the moment my wireless broadband user facilities indicate there is no option to change plans - ie written in red is "Unfortunately your current plan cannot be changed."
