Re: New Members Facilties Is Up

One feature that does not seem to have been carried over is the Mobile Plan Comparison tool. The new one on the Support > Mobile page links to a google doc spreadsheet, which is nice. However the old one that compared the actual spend for last month's mobile usage with what you would have spent on a...

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

On the http://www.exetel.com.au/res_main.php page the Current Specials include an add "ADSL 2 Unlimited Usage 12 md to 12 noon". It links however to the new plans with no peak / off peak delineation.

Re: Off peak 12-12, or 2-2?

When I switched from an old plan (2-2) to a new (12-12), my off peak reverted to 12-12. I emailed previous to the switch and just after to see if I could keep the 2-2 but was told no.

Re: Are new feature suggestions welcome?

The AUP refers to the 3x average for the "No Charge" plans. There are only a few left. The Unlimited=No Limit are not the same.

The No Charge plans had the limit in the member area for those on them ~90GB this month.

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

1) ADSL2 (plus telephone line) - $50.00 per month - downloads/uploads @ 50 cents per gb - capped at $A75.00 per month
Does that mean uploads will be counted as well??

Re: Referral didn't work

My HSPA referrals do not show up on the referral page. Indeed the referral page does not have a line item for HSPA (though it is mentioned in the preamble). However the $25 was credited to my account at the next billing cycle.

Re: OPTARSE coverage failing

It is not just your side of the ridge. Over 'our side' (Kalorama, MtD, Olinda, Sassafras) it is as bad, even on the tourist rd. It is one of the reasons I have not bothered with an HSPA account.

Re: Changed to faster plan.Speed is unchanged

A couple of things you can check. 1) In members area does it indicate you have actually changed plans? If yes, goto 2. If no, there's the problem - open a ticket. 2) Have you recycled your modem (turn it off for at least 15 mins)? If yes goto 3. If no try that then goto 3. 3) Check your modem stats....

According to:

Re: Buy more download

As Tim K mentioned, you buy extra download at Exetel by using what you want (over quota). Exetel will bill you the relevant $ per GB excess fee (EG $0.50/GB ADSL and $1 or $1.50/GB ADSL2). This is charged in GB increments. Other providers offer things like 'Data Blocks' and 'Top-ups' but to me this ...
