Re: International number format

Maybe make the suggestion through the suggestion box, if not already done so?

Re: 12 Hour 'Off Peak' Now For New ADSL2 Plans

hey guys, i thought the whole reason for putting the time to 2am for off peak was to fix the problem with bandwidth at 12 midnight... wont shifting the time back to 12 midnight just reproduce the problem? You should look at the MRTG reports for your location. My interpretation from an external view...

Re: Inconsistent plan listings

Exactly. Even the stuff you quoted had the bundling required. So to interpret: Exetel site (inc members area) INC2DSL = $$ = ADSL+Phone, inclusive ADSL2Exchanges site INC2DSL = $ + Phone meaning you have to add $15 to the quoted price, whereas it is already included in Exetel's own listings. That's ...

Re: Inconsistent plan listings

Actually, both are correct. Its just the adsl2exchanges info only lists the ADSL2 component, not the 'bundling required' component. The phone line rental is $15 and is inclusive on the Exetel listings.

Re: Revised ADSL2 Plans From September 1st

Nathan,

Just log into member facilities and click on ADSL > Change my service and order the plan that best suits your need (for $105 you get 60+60 - INC2DSLE).

You will keep the 0200-1400 off peak.

Also, have you checked the Optus has a free port at your exchange.

PTL = Powertel
INC2DSL = Optus

Re: Administration Fee

How do you figure? Ahh see, that's horses for courses. I can live with the 8 peak and make use of the 6 off peak. As a 6 vs 6 tradeoff I could hold off. but a 4 vs 6 + the 100 VOIP calls means I will reduce from about $63 (55+3+5) to $55. It's all about the value to the individual and how one uses ...

Re: Administration Fee

All the new plans do not have the admin fee. The only ones that do are the grandfathered (INCPHONE, NAK, TEL and NONPHONE). I have not seen anything indicating that it will be removed from them, though I doubt it. With the new updated quotas etc, the new plans come much closer (and in most cases now...

As well as the included 100 VOIP calls (worth up to $10 per month). No brainer it would appear.

Re: Broken my Linux Mint Installation

I didn't do the reinstall because I didn't know how (and what) to protect so I didn't lose data. I was OK with the stuff in home, but what else? Settings, email etc. The problem with a noob with a little knowledge being dangerous, but not enough to do what needs to be done. But I spoke to soon anywa...
