Re: Usage Meter Issue - Usage Over-Reported

Just received reply from Exetel saying my usage has been usage has been recalculated.

Because of the error Exetel over-charged me last month, but I'm not going to bother with 50c.

Re: Usage Meter Issue - Usage Over-Reported

That's weird. I opened my ticker earlier than you but Exetel didn't reply to my ticket.

Re: Usage Meter Issue - Usage Over-Reported

My meter over-reported again for my Thursday peak (12-12). The funny thing, the reading looked fine just a few hours ago. I've re-opened my ticket, posting here just in case anyone else experiences the same.

Usage meter not working properly

I'm on 12-12 offpeak but the usage meter is now working as if I'm on 2-8, blowing out my peak period quota.

Meter was working fine yesterday.

Simcard delivery cost of WI E 'stand alone' wireless plan

In Member Facilities (https://www.exetel.com.au/members/hspa_ ... a_form.php) I see that the plan incurs a service activation charge of $25, but nowhere does it indicate the delivery cost for the sim card.

I got the modem already, so all I need is the sim card.

Re: Wireless Internet Included In ADSL Plan Prices

Is fibre expected to be widely available in Sydney soon? This affects whether I should sign a 12-month contract with Optus.

Re: Chage peak excess download option

Hey thalamic , Are you still stuck on shaping? Have you tried to contact support? Joe According to Members Facilities i'm still on the shaping option. I don't anticipate going over my quota this month, so I'm just waiting for Exetel to fix it. Raising a ticket means I'd be reducing my profitability...

Is the availability check working? I tried george 2000 and it says "No data found for that search".

Re: What Modem/Router Do I Need For A Fibre Service?

No, the Billion 7404VPNX does not have an ethernet WAN port, it has a DSL port. In modem configuration I can see "EWAN" available for WAN port (the other 2 are adsl and 3G), so that was why I thought it has an ethernet WAN port. 6404VGP is just wireless G and has no gigabit. It would feel kind of f...

Re: What Modem/Router Do I Need For A Fibre Service?

Any router that has an ethernet WAN port and LAN ports (either via a built in switch or external) and either in built VoIP or using external ATAs connected to the router will suffice. My Billion ADSL2 router 7404VNPX has all the features you described, but Exetel's fibre FAQ seems to rule out all a...
