Re: Off Peak Period Change

I already have HSPA WI A (no contract) for backup. Do I just cancel it and apply for the new plan in user facilities? That seems easiest for both Exetel and me.

Re: ADSL2 Plan Changes

I'm not sure about this. I just paid the plan change fee this month, but Exetel is now changing my plan retroactively...

Re: No limit = Unlimited

This is getting confusing. "No limit = Unlimited" is supposed to be unequivocal.

Is credit card fee gone?

Exetel used to charge a small fee for credit card payment, then changed to an admin fee regardless of payment method. Today I just changed my old plan (INCPHONE Z) to NF/21INCTEL, and I did not see any message regarding payment method fees. I get a feeling that maybe the credit card surchage has bee...

Re: Exetel ADSL 1 plans

I haven't received the email yet, but I was alerted to the $3 admin fee on WP.

To be fair, Exetel did cut plan prices by more than $3 not too long ago, so I' not bothered by the fee.

Thanks vk3xem, I'll see what I can do with the stupid phone. If it doesn't work I'll just throw it away and get a new phone! :D

Re: What is "vfinternet"?

It's a Sony Ericsson T610. It was bought from Vodafone but that was many years ago. After checking past bills it seems these autonomous calls started in late Jan this year, which is a bit odd, because we haven't changed the phone settings. We rarely use the phone. Very sneaky of Vodafone.

What is "vfinternet"?

On my Exetel mobile phone bill, there are numerous calls destined to "vfinternet 2Kb", which apparently is some sort of "Data, Fax & GPRS" call. Each call lasts 2 seconds and costs 1c. Anyone knows what it is? This is a backup phone so I only happen to notice them until now. Looks like it's been goi...

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year

The Optus ADSL2+ link has increased massively to 900mbps+. I wonder if it has anything to do with the contract negotiations.

There are actually two optus 550mbp graphs. Both are looking full. This is just like last weekend, but I think http speed is better this time.
