Re: XML Usage Meter/Data

Our development team is working on this. Will get sorted out within next week. Hello. Thanks for the update. Whilst the developers are at it, is the any chance they could corrected the data within <LineSpeed> as per the sample below. For as long as I can remember (years) this field has always displ...

Re: XML Usage Meter/Data

Hi Dazzled. I don't think that will work. In a few days we will switch to August and the XML wont contain July data which is what would be needed for your workaround to be valid. The section <MonthlyUsage> now needs to reflect data usage for the month starting on 14th and not the first.

XML Usage Meter/Data

Hello Exetel, Since the shift to 14th of month for start of billing cycle (data usage), the XML usage data is incorrect. In my case it still reflects usages starting at 1st month and hence shows incorrect data usage for the billing period. Is the XML usage data going to be corrected at all to reflec...

Re: Mobile account number

Hello. Appologies for stealing your thread but I've just ported out 2 of our 4 mobiles as these were very low usage (a couple of calls only per month) and not worth continuning the minimum monthly spend on these. Do I need to advise Exetel of this or is it automatic as part of the port out process, ...

Re: Cannot access web site - can someone test

So far I have modified the Intrusion Detection setting 'Maximum TCP Open Handshaking Count' from default of 100 to new value of 150 and no repeat of the issue.

Re: Cannot access web site - can someone test

Thanks Dazzled and Need2No. I do have firewall active but not currently set to log so I will turn that on as see what it shows. I'd expect it would have to be trigger of IDS (Intrusion Detection); maybe something about the school web site and Moodle that is setting the router off. Anyway, time shoul...

Re: Cannot access web site - can someone test

Thanks for checking. Might get myself a Linux live distro and bung it on a flash drive. Thing is, if as in your tracert the next hop after Telstra is to Flinders then what does that mean? To me it that means test via Linux wont reveal anything I don't already know unless I'm missing something? I had...

Re: Cannot access web site - can someone test

Hello. Need to raise the issue of accessing http://www.flinders.vic.edu.au again. The issue still occurs and I'm not sure what the cause is. The modem is Billion 7401VGPM. There's no P2P, gaming or anything like that on the home network. I find that after rebooting the modem, I can connect to the we...

Re: MOIP on Nokia E71

Hi Dom, The Nokia E71 should have a native SIP client. I have an E51 so assuming the menu is the same check for Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> SIP Settings. Create a profile and copy as needed for WiFi, 3G etc. When you make a call, you choose 'internet call' and you can do this from any of your...

Re: Mobile 1 plan change

I've added some further information to my billing ticket regarding different billing totals depending on whether I view via the HSPA page or the linked ADSL page. It's now been a month trying to get the 4 phones ported from Mobile 1 to Mobile A and billing and web pages corrected. It would obviously...

Re: Mobile 1 plan change

Hello shoner. I've not had a reply from billing explaining the billing issues with the phones since porting. Could you or someone check my ticket please? Thanks, Andrew.

Re: Porting from Vodafone to Optus - which plan

Like I say above, if a CAP plan works, grab the V plan while you can. The V plans were added after Exetel sent their email in April for porting of Vodaphone plans and as I had already submitted the change for Mobile 1 to Mobile A it was too late for me. By getting a V plan the price is not dependant...

Re: Porting from Vodafone to Optus - which plan

Hello ocular. I got these messages also. The V plan is essentially the cap plan with the ADSL discount applied. I think you'll find that you can only port to the V plan if you've yet to begin a port from the now obsolete Vodafone plans. Certainly in my case the V plans were visible but these disappe...

Re: Mobile 1 plan change

I haven't recieved a response to my last post or from private message. I finished up logging a support ticket to billing and this also hasn't been answered. Ticket number is 3971216. Could someone please follow this up. Questions are pro-rata billing for port from Mobile-1 to Mobile-A when first mon...

Re: Mobile 1 plan change

Just a couple of follow up questions. Can you explain how the billing for Mobile A works. I understand it's post paid, however, I have just received pro-rata monthly invoice for May since my port from Mobile 1 to Mobile A was completed a few days ago (which is a question I will also raise). It appea...
