Re: Exetel Mobile SMS Application

Some Exetel Mobile SMS feedback following my post a few weeks back: 1. I was able to get Exetel Mobile SMS to work on Nokia S40 based phones; for the benefit of those interested, this was models 3110c and 6233. 2. The problem experienced previously was due to missing certificate (although the applic...

ADSL2 loss of sync

Lost sync about 8PM. PSTN seems OK. Chelsea VIC exchange. Modem off for while doesn't seem to have helped. Just checking if anyone else having issues. Logged fault via phone system but I was unable to log into helpdesk; seems the username and password is not accepted though I've used it in the past ...

Re: Exetel Mobile SMS Application

Hi kudabird, If you don't have any virtual mobile number keep virtual inbox number settings as it is. If you have one then change it. Then it will work fine. :) Did that; maybe some field validation? Also, is an S40 compatible version feasible? I'm happy to burn some of my included SMS quota...

Re: Exetel Mobile SMS Application

There's a bug in the application. Think I have the latest version (235KB). Under settings, if the virtual mobile number is cleared (there's a 0 in there by default) then the application will fail to launch with an unhandled exception. This is on both Nokia 6233 and E51. Edit: Actually, in testing I ...

Re: VoIP Issues

Thanks for the acknowledgement. My VoIP setup failed a few times over the 2 weeks with auth failure. I note with my Billion 7401VGPM that once auth failure occured it stopped periodic sip registration until i manually sync'd. Is there any way at the Exetel end to determine auth failure or similar co...

Re: Profile change from members area?

That's what I understood also; trying to get past the 'have I made the right decision stage' as well as the cut-over happening when I'm due to go on pager duties. Thanks your your help; can close thread.

Re: Profile change from members area?

Thanks; maybe one for the suggestion box. And just another quick question please. Can I do this at the modem end if I find once the cut-over occurs I'll need to consider a profile change? I have Billion 7401VGP-M but I'm light on knowledge with the various WAN settings (use default setting where eve...

Profile change from members area?

Hello, I have a ADSL to ADSL2 change request in; expected cut-over is beginning October. Current modem stats are: Downstream Upstream SNR Margin 25.0 dB 24 dB Line Attenuation 52.5 dB 29.0 dB I'm a long way from the exchange and expect a 1500 profile may be needed to maintain stability. I had it in ...

Re: Members VoIP meter incorrect $ value

There still seems to be a display issue. This morning the members home page showed the correct value for VoIP but now it isn't. Not certain of this but it almost looks like the correct value is shown in the AM and an incorrect value in the PM? Note the actual VoIP page when selected is correct; it's...

Members shows billing for Exetel-Exetel calls/sms

Hello again. Hopefully this is the right forum section. Another issue that started (I think) today. Have 3 x mobiles on Mobile-1 plan and all show being billed for Exetel to Exetel SMS and calls. Only a couple of calls on each so within fair use period.

Members VoIP meter incorrect $ value

Hello. Over the past few days my VoIP Meter as seen on the members homepage has been incorrect in that it shows the wrong $ total. If I open the VoIP Meter to get call details, this displays correctly. This morning the members page summary corrected itself but now it is again displaying the wrong $ ...

Re: Change To Usage Measurement Times

There's been two changes, metering of peak and offpeak based on local time and the ability to modify your peak and offpeak time via the members facility. In the case of the later, choices provided are 12:00 midnight, 1:00AM and 2:00AM. As a compromise to the WA folk that are effected by this, and al...
