ADSL2 with line rental from current provider

Hi, Just a couple of questions please. I note on the residential ADSL2 section it is now possible to obtain an ADSL2 plan using your current line provider (I presume these are using Telstra backend). These are plans PTL A etc. There is no means within the member area to select one of these plan if y...

Re: Admin fee increase

My initial reaction was along the line of $3 seems a bit much when you consider most credit card fees are 2-3%. On reflection though I agree that this is best as an account fee rather than a plan increase. Unlike many ISP, Exetel offer other services and I myself have ADSL plus 3 mobile phones on th...

Re: Separation of ADSL and telephone billing?

Hi. My feedback isn't regarding the unified billing but rather the tax invoice. I've made a couple of suggestions; perhaps another could be to relocate the call summary to a new page so that the first page contains the listed items such as monthly fee etc and following page(s) have the call summary....

Re: Separation of ADSL and telephone billing?

Hmm, when I login and go to Billing Details -> View ADSL Invoices, my August invoice contains ADSL and mobile. My mobile bill stops end July as per the changes. It's no big deal if there's no way to seperate; just it would make expense and taxation easier. Perhaps another option is a view/print summ...

Separation of ADSL and telephone billing?

Monrning, The latest change to shift mobile billing date has mean that there is now a unified tax invoice for mobile and ADSL service. In my case,I have a portion of my ADSL service reimbursed by my employeer so I would much prefer to have these items seperated. The mail out indicated there would be...

Telstra mobile port fee

This is just a 'I'm curious' question. A few months back I moved two mobiles to Exetel. One was a Telstra pre-paid the other was a Telstra post-paid on the home phone account (not on a fixed term contract or anything like that). Some 3 or so months after porting, Telstra have sent an invoice for $8 ...

Shaping question and enhancement

I have a couple of questions relating to the shaping option which may lead to an enhancement request. I'm on TELH and on current download projections expect to go to 2012MB for the month. Obviously for 12MB it's not worthwhile me paying (a whole) $3.00 so turning shaping on for peak either today or ...

Disable mobile voicemail

Hello. I've just had ported a mobile and want to disable redirect to voicemail. When I dial 1210 it requests to setup voicemail. I'll get the daughter to do that if so, but I was expecting a call to 1210 would simply disable voicemail. It appears one must go through enable prior to disable? Is that ...

Port authority form

Hello. I placed a mobile order last week and have received the SIM but not the port authority form. I’ve messaged billing (return reply 701301) but would like to try and get this ported today if possible. Is there someone that could follow up with this please? Note that I also placed a request for s...

New mobile applic. customer number

Hello. I have two mobile phones that I intend on porting to Exetel. I tried the first just now which is a Telstra pre-paid. I do not have a customer/account number with the pre-paid phone so cannot complete the form. I have the documentation from the SIM when it was purchased 6 months ago and it's d...

Note this is to gain access to the member area. The modem has connected OK using the details provided in the message when I placed the churn order. To access the members area it says to use 10 digit telephone number for username and password as the password (for first login). No go; it just loops ba...
