Re: extra VOIP number on new ADSL2 account
Roy, email voipsupport@exetel.com.au and ask them to change your bundled voip number to your local wollongong one. Plan B i think usually comes with a $5/month charge but that includes $5 of calls. If you have people in Sydney who you want to call you , then its worth the $5 each month, otherwise ca...

Re: What is the voicemail diversion number?
Exetel voicemail is network configured, so you either have it on or off. If its on, it will accept the call after 30seconds. To retrieve your messages you dial 121 from your handset and listen to them and/or have them forwarded to your email address. The one in your ATA is used to divert it to anoth...

Re: How to intercept calls when B party leaving message.
You should point out that this only applies to the built in answering machine on the Panasonic KX-TG5839ALS.
It does not help any voip users that have just missed a call and exetel voip voicemail has accepted the call.

Re: Receiving faxes takes too long!
Hi Jokiin,
Im faxing to my Exetel Fax DID. It arrived after 20 minutes this time, but only 3 pages came through and of the 3 only 2 were visible. It was a 12 page fax.
Plus i included the 02 prefix just in case, but it was sent from a standard fax machine.

Re: Multiple VoIP lines?
I'd recommend to take the opportunity to get an IAD All in one wireless Modem Router Voip adaptor (that supports 2 FXO's)
I run 2 lines all the time, one for work and one for home, both can run at the same time and the All in One also prioritizes VOIP packets (Thats QoS)
