Invalid Security Certificate
I am using the Firefox Addon NetUsage and it usually works great, I monitor 3 different Exetel accounts on my browser. But today each time they try to refresh I get a pop-up window say Invalid Security Certificate . Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? Does Exetel have to chage the Security...

Re: Mobile Email Access
I agree with what others have posted here. Exetel's bandwidth is much better than Optus because they use thier own access point.
When I have a decent signal it works great. Shame that Exetel aren't jumping on Optus for shit coverage in my area, but that has nothing to do with bandwidth.

Re: VOIP Caller ID's
Does this mean I can use my Exetel HSPA number to mask my VoIP number again? Like I was until Christmas last year?
This is exactly what I asked for all along!

Re: New 1500A Plan
What I want to know is if I can change to 1500A and if so will I get slugged antother $10 like last month?Ravenous wrote:New customers should sign up for 1500A and set the $0.50 excess charge as you will get more bang for your buck and keep full speed. B,C & D are not as good value.

New 1500A Plan
I personally like the idea of these new plans that do NOT offer off-peak. As an existing Exetel customer who changed plan last month at the request of Exetel, will I get slugged another $10 plan change fee? Traditionally plan changes have only ever incurred a fee if there is a change in connection s...

Re: Off-Peak time reduction-This is a joke
May as well dump off peak all together and create new 24/7 plans with increased usage. I don't think I will be churning but the difference between the different ISP's and Exetel is now non-existant.

Re: Wireless Internet Included In ADSL Plan Prices
What about probably 95% of customers that only have access to ADSL1 plans? Sounds a bit unfair to me!ForumAdmin wrote:5) Available to users of Exetel ADSL2 plans

Re: Exetel MoIP
I gave up on Exetel MoIP long ago. For one on the Optarse network is over subscribed and many cells have bugger all capacity, which means MoIP / VoIP is hit and miss at the best of times over 3G. When I was using Nokia I used Symbian phones that had native SIP capabilites that would operate SIP as i...

I personally don't see the facination in trying to download as much of your quota as possible. I don't mind having plenty left at the end of the month, I would be more stressed if I went over.felix wrote:Too true. But at the end of the month, with 3/12GB left of my off peak allowance, why not give it a go.

Re: Optus blocks Android App Store -- Does Exetel's HSPA?
Just wanted to let everyone know that vicbitter is right, Optus prevented access to paid apps through their SIM cards, and yes, Optus announced last week that they had enabled access to paid apps in the Andoid Marketplace : http://twitter.com/Optus/status/11062812547 . Access to paid apps, does tha...

Re: VOIP over 3G
Is Optus 3G reliable enough when you're not in a Wifi zone guys? How are people finding call quality and the reliability of the Optus 3G network in metro areas? :) I'm in Brisbane and intend to be using 3G in areas within 5km of CBD. I live on the outskirts of Melbourne and I regularly travel throu...

Re: Copyright Infringement Notices
I have a question about these though. I received two of these last night for two series of South Park I was downloading. Now I own these same episodes on disc but it's a pain to load them on a media server, take it on the road etc and it's far quicker to download them with my excess GBs than rip th...
