Nice idea, I will do that now although it shouldn't really be necessary.

Cancelation of service

Back on Friday 12 March I requested the cancelation of a HSPA service I have lost control of. On the Members Facilities Page it clearly stated that it would be canceled the next working day. 5 days later it was still active so I lodged a ticket PPR-58276-394 , still to this date the service is still...

Re: SMS cost on Mobile service via ExeSMS

I previously used a Nokia E65 and used ColbySMS with great success. ColbySMS improves on exeSMS by allowing SMS to be sent via other VoIP services as well plus standard SMS fail over as an added option.

Re: HSPA F1 Plan - USB modem Over Seas

GSM World shows that hialand only has GSM coverage available at this time with 1 planned 3G network. So they will be very slow speeds available there. Singapore shows that all the companies thier provide 3G coverage as well as GSM, so you will have no problems there. Although roaming agreements are...

It is still a scam as that is not how referrals are set up by Exetel.

Re: Time to take Optus to the TIO

I just spoke to Optus on Twitter and they said they will investigate why they have not taken up the option of the communications sites to improve coverage into the Badger Creek area.

It will benifit them with improving coverage into the Healesville Sanctuary.

Re: Exetel Plan Decomissioned

You have two choices, stay on your CURRENT plan and pay the extra $5 a month or you select a current plan and possibly save yourself money as has been demonstrated by others in a different thread. I opted to change plans, I will pay the same as I always have and have exactly the same quota. So it is...

How do we get them to do anything then?

Time to take Optus to the TIO

This is getting beyond a joke, dropped calls and unable to use my Exetel HSPA for voice calls anymore. I have lodged numerous fault reports and still nothing. There used to be half decent coverage around Badger Creek but it has gone to shit. Other Optus users around here are suffering also. I know f...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

With the $5 increase, does the $3 admin fee still apply? Looking at moving to NF/8192 for $60. It going to cost me $60 or $63 a month? Or will this price change too to $65/month. There is NO Admin fee on any current plan, where did you get that dumb idea from? The cost is what is on the plan page, ...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

It appears to me that Exetel will save money in accounting procedures with this change rather the actual plans.

No big deal, if it streamlines thier effectiveness I don't see a real problem. I just changed from TL-BA to TL-C1, in effect absolutely no change to my quota or cost.

I would certainly like such a product.

It would also be nice to have the option to purchase the hardware also that is pre-configured to work correctly.

Re: OPTARSE coverage failing

It's not good enough. They claim to provide a service and they clearly do not. Once I have finished with this lack of service coverage I will start on bandwidth, after all it is being supplied for data and VoIP use! It is time to put a rocket up Optus's arse big time and force them to provide the se...
