Re: Vodafone National Roaming
Does Exetel plan to have mobile coverage similar to the Vodafone/Telstra combination for all states? Mobiles are mobile so it makes them not very mobile if only small coverage areas are available. Unfortunately the National Roaming is controlled by Vodafone, so not much hope of Exetel being able to...

Re: Internet Access
I would like a deal just for IM and/or email too. Just so we don't get any nasty surprises!

Port Application
I put a port application in last Tuesday and it says pending in the members area.

Re: Telephone numbers for VoIP
Thanks for the replies guys.
No big deal about the numbers anyway, just an observation that their is a VoIP numbering allocation that appears not to have been taken up by anyone at this stage.

Re: What to do when your mobile is lost/stolen
If you can be bothered, report the lost/stolen mobile to police, Taxi drivers will always drop off mobiles to their closest police station, and it (and your report) will be hopefully matched up on the database. Your dreaming if you think a taxi driver hands in a mobile phone, they have buyers waiti...

Telephone numbers for VoIP
I would like to know why eXetel and other VoIP providers have not taken to the 0550 block of phone numbers allocated by the ACMA? ACMA References: Service types and telephone numbers for VoIP Guidelines for the 0550 number range With many of us starting to make use of Smartphones like the Nokia E an...

Re: Possible New ADSL2 Plans For New Financial Year
Unless eXetel can pull off a deal with Tel$tra there is not much hope of the majority of us having access to ADSL2+.

Re: Converting exchanges to ADSL2+
Because Tel$tra has a monopoly there is probably little to no chance that most Australians will be able to access ADSL2+ unless they go to Tel$tra. In my opinion the Government (previous Governments) have totally screwed telecommunications in Australia. Multiple networks in European countries may we...

Re: Vodafone National Roaming
Thank you for a quick reply. I have used Vodafone in the past and the National Roaming worked in my area where there were a few black spots (as there are with any network). Is the National Roaming automatically applied or do we have to request it?

New User accessing Members Area
My churn is due through sometime today.
I haven't been able to log into the Members area yet, is this because the churn hasn't gone through yet?
UPDATE: My churn has gone through but still don't seem to be able log into the members area.
UPDATE 2: All working now!

Re: premium text charges
I am about to churn my Internet account to Exetel later this month and also considering porting my mobile number a little later.
I would like to know if Exetel can block Premium SMS like other providers do?
