Re: Clarification of the CAP Mobile Data Usage email

Although the data charge is listed under the voice charge details (i.e. the breakdown), it got absorbed into the cap on my invoice. So it did not affect me. Call Summary -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- National Call: 1 calls 30 seconds $0.88 Mobile Ca...

Re: Price Increase For Out Of Contract Customers - Continued

ie, no more price changes A price variation that has a negative impact on the customer can still be made within the contract period so long as the appropriate notice along with the window of oppurtunity to cancel/churn without an early termination fee. In other words there is no guarentee of no fut...

Re: Applying for new service instead of moving service

As far as I am aware for the people on resold Optus plans can relocate their service to a new address without requesting Telstra to activate a line as Optus can perform this. So this avoids having to pay telstra (or reseller) a fee to activate your the telephone line at your new premise. So the new ...

Re: Why I cannot change to T1.5-30 instead of OCV

I just wanted to move to the current ADSL plan T1.5-30 This would be on Telstra infrastructure requiring a Telstra wireline. Your wireline is on Optus Infrastructure. If you would like to make this happen, with little downtime I believe you would need to: - Call Telstra and ask for a new telephone ...

I have to ask you how the average joe blow would have access to someoenes spare modem? It is unfortunate that this needs to be done however if the modem is ruled out as the issue your fault could be escalated to the next level. So long as all of the other tests have been carried out. Surely somebod...

Re: Why cant i cancel now?

Can you withdraw the request in Members Facilites by navigating to Manage Services -> ADSL -> Cancel Plan Tab? If not, try emailing provisioning@exetel.com.au with a request manually withdraw the Cancel Plan request. Or you could call them http://www.exetel.com.au/contact.php The aim is to withdraw ...

Since Telstra has handled the port and have your account, everything will need to be corresponded through Telstra to resolve this for you unfortunately.

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers

In the members facility, I have noticed that there is no cross-infrastructure Plan Changes from Telstra available for someone I help their account with. That is no change currently available from Telstra plans to Optus or AAPT plans. Is this temporary or permanent? We are looking at what are options...

Re: Change of Plan

From vague memory...
Log into ADSL members -> Manage Services -> ADSL -> Change Service Status Tab -> You should have a button that will withdraw the plan change

Otherwise an email to provisioning@exetel.com.au with a request to withdraw your plan change request may also work.

Re: Price Increases For Out Of Contract Customers

So if you have 2 ADSL services using the same email details how do you work out which service the email relates to if both services are out of contract? The last notification, in regards to PSTN tarif increases, the affected service number was in the subject line (i.e. "Bundled ADSL2 + Wireline Tel...
