Re: Major Changes To 'No Frills' Plans

WHY does the telecommunications industry insist to package their products into 'included value/included data quota/included call minutes' on post-paid plans? I wish it were all more simple to work out what is good value and what isn't. Pay for what you use is the only way for me. Example: SERVICE (A...

Re: Practical alternatives for managing off-peak and congestion

why not reinstate a midnight to midday off-peak period, reduce the amount from 60GB to 20GB, but deem 3am-9am as a "super off-peak" with 40GB additional quota So in a nutshell, instead of two seperately metered download periods, three seperately metered downlaod periods are proposed? This has merit...

Re: Practical alternatives for managing off-peak and congestion

If one of the theories that I read floating around holds true - that customers were staying up until 12am to hit start on their downloads - then I beleive changing off-peak time to later in the morning is the best course of action. There could be further improvement if these customers were encourage...

Re: New ADSL Plans For July 1st 2009

Personally, there are a few perks in the current plans that I could do with and many I could do without. If it means a lower monthly cost I am all for it. 1) 12 hours of offpeak is never usually required for myself (others in the household do more often though), I would happy drop 25%. 2) Can't do w...

Re: Fring/NimBuzz Replacement

Wondering if the samsung issue will be resolved before next release?

I have a samsung innov8. As mentioned previously when making a call it rings and connects to receiving phone fine but no sound & no microphone.

Cheers.

Re: Revisions To ADSL1 Plans

The email did actually refer to this page http://www.exetel.com.au/a_plan_pricing_new.php and at the end (as you say) it said "No current users of these plans need take any action to receive these benefits from April 1st 2009." (the emphasis is mine). However, I agree that it could have been more c...
