Re: WiFi / HSDPA 1 way audio issue

STUN server or another NAT traversal tool could be worth a shot. PCMu/a (G711u/a) may not neccesarily be the codec negotiated/required especially for VoIP -> PSTN and VoIP -> Mobile. I do not know what is used in those circumstances, hopefully we can be enlightend? Your MoIP application may have lim...

Re: Change of plan fee

Manage Services>ADSL>Change Service[Tab]>Click Apply (Don't worry you will not commit to anything) You will see the options on the Change Plan form.

Re: Can't hear ringing on outgoing call

I get the same problem (RTA1046VW Firmware: 3.64y). I wondered why the wife was complaining about 1 ring then silence when calling me at work over the last few days (Telstra PSTN). Works fine VoIP to VoIP.

Re: more voip value packs

Yes I notice that there isn't the VP minute/call counter at the top of the VoIP Usage meter either? That was a good feature, had it just been overlooked?

Re: Move to Naked seems risky

Should work like this. I am sure I will be corrected if I have interpreted wrong. OTFree-1: 1 x $0 ADSL2 (15 GB/120 GB) + 1 x $30 Line Rental + 1 x $19 CAP19 Mobile = $49 per month minimum + one-off $20 CAP19 activation ADD 2 x CAP19 services = $38 per month minimum (outside of the OTFree-1 package ...

Re: Move to Naked seems risky

It is unfortunate you are on a BYO plan. See: http://exewiki.exetel.com.au/index.php?title=ADSL_2_-_AAPT/Powertel_Products_%26_Services#Upgrades.2F_Downgrades_and_Plan_Changes I guess you need to ask yourself whether the downtime, plus $60 connection fee to a naked service (My in-head calc leads me ...

Re: Off Peak Periods

Bash Steam for me, they still have no scheduler. I reluctantly purchased a license for NetLimiter Pro . When I download games, I shape Steam to 64kbps during the peak period. Don't forget to pause the steam downloads and disable the NetLimiter rule once you want to play a Steam game though! Otherwi...

Re: Off Peak Periods

I would definitely consider 'drip-feeding' the possible off-peak increases. First step consider extending existing off-peak periods from 6 hours to 8 hours: - 2 am to 10 am - 4 am to 12 pm Let settle for a month or two. Re-assess. Second step consider a third off-peak slot for selected plans - 6 am ...

Re: more voip value packs

Had similar issue a few months back... it just takes a few days into the new month for the VP to become active. Once active, it applies retrospectively to the 1st.

Re: Is the network for HSPA and the Optus capped plans the s

For current Exetel wireless broadband customers wanting to change to a new Exetel mobile plan via Optus, there will be a $20 plan change fee. Customers' existing SIMs can be retained. Should be a simple plan change via Members' Facilities in the very near future, it has not yet been made available.

Re: New ADSL2 Plan - Free

A tiny amount of imagination can lead to another 'NO ADSL2 monthly access' charge offer if you bundle 2 x CAP 19 mobile services into the OTAA 20/180 GB plan. Ignoring the recent admin fee... OTAA ($20) - 2 x CAP19 discounts ($20) = $0 Line rental ($30) + 2 x CAP19 ($38) = $68 In other words spin it...

Re: more voip value packs

Is it the ADSL service 'add-on packs' such as VP1 and VP4 you are talking about? Or is it the VoIP 'added value' packs' (international)?

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts

It had been answered above it should be a simple 'plan change' from HSPA (handset use) to capped mobile. It should be available soon, a staff member asked for patience after a poorly worded post of mine. If all goes to plan, all you would need to do is submit a plan change from HSPA (handset use) to...

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts

Is it possible to change from an existing Exetel HSPA Mobile plan to one of the new Exetel "Capped" Mobile plans? e.g. From WBP to CAP19 If so what is the correct procedure Yes this will be a plan change. You will need to apply for a plan change in the members facility. Will the plan change be made...
