Re: Query - change from INC2DLSA to OTAA

Thanks, seems like a 'no brainer' to me. There's nothing else I need to be aware of is there?

Many Thanks

Query - change from INC2DLSA to OTAA

G'day I'm currently on Inc2DLSA and looking to change to OTAA because it gives me higher usage with a $7 per mth saving (I believe).
My query: with Inc2 I incur a $3 Admin fee and $1 CC charge. Do these apply to OTAA? I can't find it on the website.

Many Thanks

Re: New to Wireless BB

If they have one computer the USB modem is enough. Is it really that simple? Just plug in the USB modem to a spare USB port? Thank you! And no, they can't get ADSL because all residences in the village go thru a PABX which provides 'in-house' VOIP. But the reality (seems to be) that wireless is goi...

New to Wireless BB

Here's the situation - inlaws have moved and have to cancel their Exetel ADSL and the village they've moved into is covered by wireless. We're looking at an Exetel WI plan for them. They only require internet for emails and light browsing. From what I can understand, apart from the E160E we'll also ...

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

I'm a loyal customer - based on the fact that I received the email. The reality for me is that I don't have a need for unlimited - until we start getting access to something like HULU; so I'll stay on my current plan +$5.00. But good on Exetel for continually trying to improve things (although I som...

Re: IP Address change - Discussion

Hi I received the email & this may be a really silly question, but here goes anyway. I have my email hosted via my own domain. Will this affect me or will it be an automatic update? And if not automatic what do I need to do?

Re: adsl2 selective website connection issues

Experiencing similar problems to others - some sites loading VERRRRY slowly and others appear normal. Only started today.

Can someone from Exetel please advise what the problem is?

Many Thanks

Re: Possible Change To Off Peak Period

To be honest it probably won't affect me, but I am encouraged that Exetel are continuing to try and make things better. Keep up the good work.

Sorry James but I don't understand your statement. My previous ADSL2 connection had a "WA" connection.

"Based on your IP address, your connection is terminating in NSW."

Thanks for the response Jason. Is there any point or reason to change to WA. Is my speed affected in any way?

Right POP?

Hi, some advise/feedback would be appreciated. I'm in Perth WA & when we recently moved house our username name changed from 08xxxxxxx.WA.Exetel.com.au to 08xxxxxxxx.NSW.exetel.com.au.
Is this significant?

Many Thanks

Moving - need new ADSL2 setup

Hi, I'm currently on Exetel Incphone A. We'll be moving Feb to a new home (on a different exchange) and I want to get Exetel connected at the new place. The Bateman exhange is showing capacity but I want to make sure that I get the new setup process right! 1. I realise I'll need to get the phone con...
