Re: New CAP (Optus) data usage page
Well if it helps, I have also raised a help desk ticket on this. (Ticket # 3400733). My thoughts however are that if I was a Developer or Support Engineer, I would hate having multiple tickets all for the same problem. Whilst it wont make the solution come any faster to the Engineer involved, it may...

Re: When will Mobile Meter work?
My experience so far with our CAP19 phone, is that the Members Facility will show mobile phone calls under the Billing Details/Unbilled Charges section. (Albeit this updates sometimes up to a week behind). However I cannot find a way to track data usage. The data meter on the front page of the Membe...

Re: New ADSL2 Plan - Free
12 month contract for a new customer or a current customer who is changing from another Exetel ADSL plan. That seems to cover everyone (everyone will be either a new customer or they will be old customer changing from another plan) So to use this new plan means signing up to a new 12 month contract...

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
Maybe people who use those numbers a lot can obtain the "native" number for that called party and ring that instead of the 13/1300/1800 number. Yes - I do this with my VoIP already whenever possible (so that I pay 10c instead of 30c per call), but some businesses will not divulge a "native" number ...

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
Can you explain what happens if a 13xxxx/1300 number call is made?
It wont work at all?
or it is charged by some other means outside the Cap?
I have ordered one of these plans for my daughter, so I need to be able to explain it to her.
Lawrie.

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
I am also interested in why 13xxxx and 1300 numbers would be excluded. The Optus version of the plans stipulates that these numbers are included, but that 1900 calls are excluded. Included Cap Value: can be used for standard national voice calls and SMS/MMS, International SMS, national video calls, ...

I can't see how to do this from the Members Facilities.........

Re: Clarification on Exetel Mobile Discounts
Without being able to locate these "Follow Me" plans on the Optus website, I am pretty sure the mobile discounts are already incorporated into the price. For example, Exetel's 'CAP14' plan would be (I assume) the Optus FollowMe $19 plan, with a $5 discount. The CAP35 is the Optus $49 plan with a $1...

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
I am not sure if this has been stated anywhere already...... Is there a limit to the number of mobile phone plans and ADSL Plan discounts you can order? ie. if someone was to order a CAP14 AND a CAP19 mobile, do you actually get a $15 ADSL discount? or: two CAP59 plans with a CAP35 would be a $55 di...

Re: ADSL Plans/$10 - $25 Per Month Discounts
We are very happy with this offer. Thanks John. We would like to ask the following questions: 1. Why charge 30c per SMS? The Optus plans are only 25c 2. The Optus BYO plans have a "BYO Option" extra SMS, extra call cap or extra Data. Will this option be available too? 3. The Exetel included value is...

Re: Difficulty comparing Mobile Phone Plans
Nope!
T o use the spreadsheet you have to know how many calls and how many minutes you have talked for. As I suggested this is difficult with the pre-paid plans as you don't have a record of what your usage has been.

Re: Increase Charges Not Making Sense
Just for interest sake, I never received an email either. Not only did I not receive the newsletter, I was not charged the new $3 Administration fee this month! I have notified Exetel via a Helpdesk ticket, in which I stated: I will continue to bring to your attention what appears to me to be mista...

Re: Increase Charges Not Making Sense
Just for interest sake, I never received an email either. I did however see the email published in the Exetel Forum, as well as receiving a monthly Exetel Newsletter that referenced the issue. Does it depend on which type of ADSL account I currently have as to whether or not I should get this type o...
