Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

midday the next day, still on adsl1. Although I only applied early yesterday afternoon.

Re: ADSL2+ on Telstra Exchanges

Hello, I'd just like to clarify a few things. I am currently on a 1500k plan, I am not in contract. I understand there will be a $30 charge to move to telstra adsl2+. Will there be a new 6 month contract or do I stay not locked in? And are people on telstra adsl2+ being 'upgraded' automatically to a...

Are there any plans for TW ADSL2+?

I have recently found out that I am in zone 1 for telstra wholesale ADSL2+. Internode seem to have an agreement to supply broadband over a Zone 1 port for around the same price as a 1536k port. God would I love that here.. I have been waiting for so long for ADSL2+ here but no one has come (only tel...

Re: Off-Peak time reduction-This is a joke

I think that this was the right thing to do. Exetel need to have the 'unlimited' name if they wish to compete in the future. This is the only way they can do that. Perhaps now we can download to our hearts content in offpeak and not worry about going over our 'unlimited' quota? :P There is just NO W...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

Hello, I am on the TL-C3 plan for $65 (I have just been changed over for this month).. I received no email about price increases. The TL-C3 plan is no longer on the website, only the FP-C3. Will I be hit with a $5 increase or will I stay at $65 a month? Also on a side note, in the plan details area ...

Packet Loss, High Latency

Hello, There are some people on whirlpool experiencing packet loss at the moment, also yesterday. I too am experiencing packet loss. It is making the web quite unbearable actually. I have never experienced packet loss with exetel before. I have restarted my modem too. I don't think this is limited t...

Re: New ADSL1 Plans

I am reallllly interested in the unlimited plan. But I would like someone from exetel to give me an idea of what is the maximum sort of limit they will tolerate. so far this month I have downloaded 56gb-ish with tons of room left over... But my downloading habits change a lot during the year. This m...

Re: Modification To 'Shaping' Option

What i don't get is... People have elected a shaped option.. yet they aren't shaped. Last month I went about 5 or 6gb over the limit. And not because I was trying to 'cheat' exetel or anything, I just wanted to use up my remaining quota within the last few days. I took comfort knowing I would be sha...
