It now seems clear that my PSTN line has not yet been connected. Is there an email notification when it is connected or do we have to keep experimenting until it finally just works?

Naked switchover

It sounds a bit like a porn title but my interest is purely technical. I'm on a new OCV200 plan and my PSTN line does not seem to be working yet. However the problem may lie with the handset which has been having a few performance issues lately. Is there any way I can find out out whether the teleph...

I am unclear about how mobile services 'connect' to the new offering. I have 3 Exetel/Optus mobiles that are earning me discounts off my ADSL costs. Do these discounts apply to the new ADSL plans?

Changed codec on both routers to G.729 and problem solved. Thanks for your help.

Can't hear incoming Exetel VOIP DID caller

I am using a Dynalink RTA1046VW. I cannot hear the caller phoning from an Exetel VOIP DID - they can hear me. They are also using the same model router. Incoming PSTN calls work fine. Rebooting the router does not help. I am using the most recent firmware. I have searched the forums for an answer. C...

Try cutting up your SIM. It worked for me using readily available guides and a kitchen knife. I did the measurements in a fairly rough way but got results.

I support this complaint and thank the poster for explaining these issues so clearly. I can't understand how Exetel allows these messes to eventuate and does not immediately act to fix them.
