Re: Exetel MoIP SMS settings?

Hi, thanks for your help but having no luck thus far. Tried a couple of the API usernames and passwords but no registration message comes up (although it is still showing up as registered on the menu screen - presumably for the Call function). The mobile number I am inputting is the one 'attached' ...

Re: Exetel MoIP SMS settings?

I wasn't aware that there was a separate HSPA login page until I used that link - why couldn't the HSPA provisioning email give me that link? It seems to me that it is not hard to make things a little easier for customers. Anyway, the HSPA username and password supplied in my HSPA provisioning email...

Re: Exetel MoIP SMS settings?

What I mean is that in Exetel Moip Call settings I put in a username and password - which registered successfully. I put the same username and password into the call settings and this did not work. Obviously that is not correct procedure but I would like a very careful account of the right procedure...

Re: Exetel MoIP SMS settings?

I'm struggling to get MOIP exesms working. When I try to use the facility below I get a 'nothing' response: I am using the same username and password as for my call settings and for HSPA mobile I am using the 'Optus' number on my HSPA mobile. What am I doing wrong? Phoned support and they were not a...

Re: Plan Change Fee/New 'Ancillary Service Pricing

The imposition of the $90 change of plan fee change shook my faith in the Exetel somewhat. It seemed to have no justification and seemed to result from some fairly confused thinking going on inside Exetel. I'm obviously pleased that it has now been removed but I hope there is no repetition ever of t...

Re: VOIP lag on outgoing calls

The new firmware - 3.64y - fixed my lag problem without any need to reset.

Re: Problems setting up VoIP with Dynalink RTA 1046VW

Thanks for the assistance. After reading about some of the hassles people have had with VOIP I was a bit anxious about setting it up at my end but it turned out to be pretty quick and painless once I had got 192.168.1.1 to actually work. On Friday I have to help someone over the phone setup an Exete...

Re: Problems setting up VoIP with Dynalink RTA 1046VW

"PPPoE or A etc settings are for the ADSL part of the connection."

Nevertheless it is the VOIP guide that tells you to change the setting and the only options are those outlined by the OP. I will be helping someone over the phone to install VOIP so some help please to clarify this.

Re: VOIP How To/Troubleshooting Super Guide !

Some advice for a novice please. I have a Belkin N1 router which I'm happy with. To use VOIP should I just get an ATA or would I be better served by replacing my Belkin with a Dynalink modem from Exetel?

Re: VOIP How To/Troubleshooting Super Guide !

1. On the VOIP plan page (http://www.exetel.com.au/voip_planA.php) the modem mentioned as currently available is the Netcomm NB9W, but on the actual sign-up form (https://www.exetel.com.au/bundle/residential_online_form.php) the modem listed is the Dynalink ADSL2+ 4-Port Wireless IAD (RTA1046VW). I ...

Re: changing ADSL1 to ADSL2

Thanks for your response. I have emailed reidential support to cancel the change. I think there is a need to make it clearer to customers that a plan change dates from the date of application - not the date it is implemented.

Re: changing ADSL1 to ADSL2

I have an ADSL plan that expires July 11. Can I apply to change now (ie 7/7/08) without 'breaking' my plan and incurring a $55 fee?
