Re: Outage 23 Feb @ 13:45
Yeah - broken here too. Can get Exetel, Internode's site, SMH and Google is on and off... Just also had a call from another business to ask about it - we believe they are on Telstra Direct, although they MAY have moved to Exetel (not 100% sure - we discussed the idea with them about 18 months ago). ...

Re: Business phone lines
Gee. Might be hardly worth our time changing.
1/4 of our phone bill is the alarm system calling a 13 number

Business phone lines
Quick (stupid) questions about Exetel's business phone plans.... 1) I can't see costs for 13/1300 numbers - I assume these are charged at the local rate (10c for the lowest plan). Correct? 2) Switching is as simple as filling in an order form on the site, right? Does it allow for switching multiple ...

Re: B30 - inclusions and how to use them?
OK. I think I've ordered what we needed... And sent the email to you, James. Thanks for checking it out for me - Sorry if I'm being a bit of a pain about it all... It's more to do with wanting to be 100% sure of things before I spend someone else's money - and I'm also trying to convince the boss to...

Re: B30 - inclusions and how to use them?
Unless you look here , which is linked to from the page showing churn plans (with the same names) where it says: 15 Email Addresses A Webmail Account For Each Email Address 60 Megabytes of Personal Web Space One Static IP Address Secure User Facilities See why I'm confused? And given the members are...

Re: B30 - inclusions and how to use them?
OK, so despite it saying $300/year for 1GB hosting, it just won't cost anything?
Is there some place where I can get a definite list of inclusions so I KNOW which things are good to pick?

Re: B30 - inclusions and how to use them?
OK, so I went looking in all that. Nothing there matches what was listed as being included in the plan. Plan says Domain Name Hosting, but members area says that's $20/year. Plan says 1GB web hosting (implied to be related to above), but members area only allows for a 200MB "home.exetel.com.au" host...

Aha... Well that has to be the stupidest design ever...
Perhaps the word "MENU" would be appropriate.

B30 - inclusions and how to use them?
Cutting the long story short, where do I go to get started with the hosting and stuff that the Bxx plans apparently include? The Business Members Area seems to only want to talk to me about ADSL. Longer story: We used to be a Westnet reseller until recently (when they decided to stop paying commisio...

Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors
OK, we just switched our business to Exetel, and I really think someone needs to sit down and FIX the business side of the Exetel website... The following is stuff I've found in just a few minutes of looking and is all under the "business" section of the website. * http://www.exetel.com.au/business_...

Re: Flash login page
Does it matter that much if enter doesn't work to log in? I mean half the time attempting to log in doesn't work anyway
Seriously though, I also find it frustrating that it doesn't work when you press enter - I often sit for about 10-15 seconds for even noticing nothing's happening.

Re: Business plans
OK, I thought I replied about this yesterday but must have got distracted... I'm just curious (since this really doesn't effect me - we only need one IP and not much else) as to why new signups have: * Domain Name Hosting * Web site hosting (up to 1 gb) * Email hosting (up to 30 email addresses) * /...

Business plans
We're currently using Telstra for phones and Westnet for internet at work. We're now looking at ditching Westnet (we're a reseller who's just been told their more or less dropping reseller agencies), and Exetel's business plans look good... But I do want to clarify some stuff... So we're all on the ...

Re: Slow response with member facilities
I'm trying to get in to check a relative's plan/usage today to see if we can move them to a different plan... Can't even get into the members area today. :? Not entirely sure if it's their low connection speed or useless DLink modem/router though. About to try using my mobile phone instead. For what...
