Re: VOIP Service Unpredictable

As instructed - the first is PCMA (g.711 A-Law), and the others are Non-Used. Just tried again, and after about 20 seconds tota silence, got a telstra message saying 'the telephone you have called is unavailable' Another try 20 seconds later produced the correct response. Both numbers now ring... It...

VOIP Service Unpredictable

My VOIP Service on two numbers, both fed into a Billion 7404 VGP, is totally unpredictable. My settings in the Billion are setup as given in the setup guide to the tee. I can make calls no problem. However, receiving calls is a completely different story. Using my mobile to test both the incoming nu...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

I just ranted here because i looked at the current plans, assumed i was on one (since i changed to the NEW plans two or so weeks ago), and got mad because i was paying an additional $5. But i'm not. Looks like you've changed plan prices multiple times in the past month, which is totally confusing fo...

Re: Price Increase Of $5.00 per Month On All Old ADSL Plans

So, i'm a little confused here. I'm currently on a ADSL1 Plan that is $55 per month, and gives me 30GB download Peak. I had a look at the new plans, and there is one that is $55 per month, that gives 36GB Download Peak. So, if i stay on my plan, it goes up to $60 per month for 30GB peak, or i can m...

Re: Reolcation Of House - & Upgrade To ADSL 2

Thank for the info.

To clarity a point - 'line will need to be activated by telstra' - does this mean i'll need to sign up with telstra for line rental before i can apply for adsl2?

Cheers,

A.

Reolcation Of House - & Upgrade To ADSL 2

Hey,

I'm moving house & considering staying with exetel.

ADSL 2 may be available in new house, what cost is involved in getting ADSL Connected at new house (with line rental & without) & ending current ADSL1 connection (out of contract)

Thanks,

Anthony.

Re: Content Filtering Trial

Good Work Exetel . Good to see you're employing some 'forward thinking' to get systems up and running, and proven to be reliable just in case the Gov pulls this one on us.

I can see ISP's who dont' do this scrambling to implement half baked systems which will kill performance...

Re: "Negativity/Sh**storm On 'Whirlpool'

Absolutely Agree. Whirlpool is just that, a whirlpool, sucking anyone who dares to go near it into a vortex of no return. In the few times i've posted there, which was when i was in geniune need, i was afronted with negativity. Unfortunately, especially in Australia, some forums are like this. They ...
