Re: VoIP Issues

Hi plasmapuff If you still haven't received a progress report on your fault then I suggest you give Exetel Support a ring (see the number in my signature). Gidget Yeah I've been doing that as well since last Friday. I'm finding the support to be very hit and miss. No one seems to be documenting any...

Re: VoIP Issues

Cheers mate.

So I should wait for their call/call them in regards to what happened/is happening with the line fault?

So the VOIP issues are related to a bandwidth issue then?

Many thanks! :)

Re: VoIP Issues

ADSL2/Naked Down in Brisbane?

Hi there,

My Naked DSL has been down since about 3pm yesterday (22/01/10), now 9:15am Brisbane time.

Nothing has changed for me hardware/software wise, have also double checked physical connections which are fine.

Just wondering whether its just me, or is anyone else experiencing it too?

cheers

Re: X-Lite Setup Issues :(

Ignoring the ATA for a second (I've unplugged it)- I still can't seem to be able to receive calls to the x-lite soft phone. I can call out successfully no problem. Ports 5060 are forwarded for the computer on which the software is loaded. My settings are: (dont know which version you had dazzled, bu...

Re: X-Lite Setup Issues :(

Thanks mate. How do I place the Zyxel behind the DMZ? I've tried by placing the LAN IP of the Zyxel into the web interface for the router (DMZ section), but it still doesn't work. It only works when I forward the ports manually, in which case I wont be able to also forward the same ports for my soft...

Re: X-Lite Setup Issues :(

Update: Actually I can't seem to receive any calls in... :( I've tried it with the ATA connected and disconnected, bus it makes no difference. I can now make outgoing calls tho.. I have port forwarded ports 5060 and 8000-8005 (is this for the computer which X-lite is installed, or the ATA? Currently...

X-Lite Setup Issues :(

Hi All, New to VOIP having just joined a Naked plan. My current setup is a Billion 5400G wireless router with a Zyxel 2302R ATA box. My VOIP via the ATA with the cordless network is working fine, however I can't seem to get my X-Lite set up. I've followed the instructions on from http://www.exetel.c...

Re: Best way to go from INCPHONE Z to Naked?

Many thanks mate:)

Just finally- if I port my PSTN number to Exetel VOIP and if I decide to change back to a PSTN land line service later on...is my number still recoverable?

cheers

Best way to go from INCPHONE Z to Naked?

Hi guys, My contract for INCPHONE Z expires in about 10 days and I was wanting to switch to an Exetel naked plan and was wondering what was the best way to do this? Through the members website or the main Residential ADSL 2 page? Also 1)As I'm an existing Extel customer- will I still be charged a $6...

Still change off-peak download times?

Hey guys, I just got this email from exetel, noticing a reduction in off peak hours and saw: "For those customers who took up the offer to change their 'off peak time' to either 1.am to 1.00 pm or 2 am to 2 pm over the past three months - your times are no affected." Can I still change my offpeak ho...

Me too. It says I downloaded a crazy amount when I had no torrents queued and the computer was turned off for the majority of the peak period. I've lodged a technical support ticket via the help desk...but yeah same boat mate. :( Off Peak: 5686.72 (upload) 5755.84 (download) Peak: 4885.60 (upload) 7...
