Re: Pensioner Broadband Plans?

We have received a number of suggestions that we should offer discounts for pensioners via the suggestion box recently. Our reasons for not doing this in the past have been that we have almost no profit in our broadband offerings as they stand to make any discount. However, if there was a demand we...

Re: Pensioner Broadband Plans?

I would think that a big advantage for both Exetel and the pensioner would be the ability to pay using 'Centrepay' This is a service provided by Centrelink where they can pay service providers directly from the allocated money which would be paid to a pensioner by pension, benefit, family allowance ...

Re: Voip P2P and port forwarding

Thanks, now we understand. You have changed the network arrangement. Why don't you set it up more typically, with the ATA and the computer each plugged into a separate port of the modem router? Re: Voip P2P and port forwarding

Okay, I hope this is clear.

Cable from Computer --> voip router (into ethernet slot) --> (from internet slot) into ADSL modem router -->
Or the other way around but that is the sequence.

My cable modem/router is a TP Link model TD 8840
My voip router is Linksys model SPA 3102
Hope that is useful.

While I was connecting the ATA I did go from a static IP to a dynamic IP and then I decided to make it static again but the IP was one digit di...

Voip P2P and port forwarding

I have just connected the ATA and all is well with making and receiving voip calls. What I want to check is port forwarding. When I just had my normal ADSL2 modem (that is before voip ATA) I had my ports forwarded for P2P and it was all working fine. Now with the ATA it has all gone to pot. To forwa...
