Re: resubmit rejected application -old plans available

Oh, that's very noble of Exetel! I just thought re-submission was designed just to save me having to re-type all the details again... I already re-submitted on the old plan, and to be honest I haven't spent that much effort to work out whether I will be substantially better of on a new plan (I'm sur...

resubmit rejected application -old plans available

I withdrew an application for naked adsl2 last week because TPG had not yet removed the codes from my line. Confirmed with them this morning they were removed, so I used the handy "resubmit application" link provided by Exetel when provisioning withdrew my application. Only, the resubmit application...

Re: Finding PUK - Only have mobile with Exetel

Just had the same issue - you need to call provisioning (option 4 when you call the Exetel support number) between 8:30 - 5:00pm to get them to generate it for you (assuming you have a new account). It would be nice if the PUK was generated at the time they created the account - I can see in the mem...

Re: Telstra/TPG ADSL2+ to Extel Naked/VoIP

OK, thanks. Email sent.

Since I am overseas at the moment, I won't be ringing TPG to disconnect for a week or so yet!

Re: Telstra/TPG ADSL2+ to Extel Naked/VoIP

Thanks Jason - but what do you mean exactly by that? I had applied, and was given a provisioning date (which I assume means Exetel can supply a service to my address). Or do you mean I should keep checking the "Service Availability" site (http://sq.exetel.com.au/cgi-bin/adsl2_with_phone.pl) and make...

Telstra/TPG ADSL2+ to Extel Naked/VoIP

My Exetel naked application was just rejected (after been given a provisioning date and having account set-up!) due to "Telstra Complex Services". Searched here, and it appears this is actually caused by my TPG ADSL2+ service, and nothing to do with Telstra (no faxsteam duet, secondary lines, etc et...

Re: Preparing for new ADSL/Naked/VoIP service

Yep, thanks all. I should be able to set-up the modem with the VoIP settings before I go - just won't be able to test them. No home phone for a few days is not a big deal. And yes, I've printed the Billion set-up guide from the ExeWIKI, updated with the username & password, put a shortcut on the des...

Re: Preparing for new ADSL/Naked/VoIP service

Thanks for the reply.

How expedient have Optus been in the past? How can I sabotage it to be late...??? :P

I guess I will have to prepare to coach my wife via mobile phone on how to configure a modem ...

Please let there be no issues, please let there be no issues...

Preparing for new ADSL/Naked/VoIP service

Hi all, I have been given a provisioning date for a new NAK2A service, and will be porting the home phone number to VoIP. However, the estimated date (in a couple of weeks) is when I will be out of town, leaving the missus to deal with the home phone down time for a few days. Is there anyway I can p...

Service Status while waiting to be provisioned

Hi, I just applied for Naked ADSL2, and was given a provisioning date. I noticed the message that said I can now log on to members services. So I did, and selected the option from the front page to "Check my Service Status". I get the following screen: 2009-08-21_094758.jpg I am not yet assigned an ...

RSS for Forum not working

Hi,

Seems the RSS feed (http://forum.exetel.com.au/forumrss.php) for forum posts is not working - I have had no updates in a week.

I Use Google Reader.

Tried the RSS link directly in firefox and ie7, and just get a blank page.

Thanks

Re: Please Use This Thread To Advise Exetel Of Typos/Errors

Hi, Just signed up for a M1-HA service, and noticed the following errors on the confirmation page & order submitted summary page: The HSPA Plan Price Summary says the M1-HA has 1GB included data, while the column headings for excess usage charges are the Peak/Off-peak ones (12-12) isntead of the up ...

Re: Does Exetel Mobile/Vodafone support EDGE gprs?

I was under the impression that Telstra is the only carrier to support EDGE speeds in Oz (reliable source: http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/?tag=hw_feature_146).
