The current VOIP Plan B order page seems to indicate differently. It seems it let's you order a single VOIP Plan B with Multiple DIDs.

Either I'm not very smart or the order page isn't very clear.

Hi VOIPadmin, creating a new account with multiple DIDs would mean I would loose the current DID I have.

Are there any plans to make this more user friendly in the future?

Maybe I don't understand it correctly, but when I go to the Exetel Member page and click on VOIP (Equipment Needed) -> Order VOIP Services I clearly see: Plan B - Multiple - DID* I can select multiple DIDs, even all numbers of the list as there doesn't seem to be any limitation or extra cost per DID...

Hmmm not exactly what I was looking for. I was hoping for a second DID on the same account. So any incoming calls on that number will ring on the phone port I have configured with my primary DID. I don't really want to have to configure the second port of my 7404VGPM for a second DID and have two se...

Re: New ADSL1 And ADSL2Plans

IncPhoneB** $75.00 16 gbytes IncPhoneC** $85.00 32 gbytes IncPhoneD** $105.00 48 gbytes IncPhoneE** $120.00 60 gbytes I'm curious to know what the reasoning is behind the increasing price per GB for the high end plans. It costs $10 to increase peak downloads by 16GB from B to C ($0.63/GB), then $20...

Multiple DIDs?

Is it possible to add multiple DIDs to a VOIP plan?

I would like to add an Adelaide DID to my current VOIP plan (which already has a Sydney DID) so some family there who are unable to get broadband can call us at the cost of a local call.

Also, i didnt know that using voip cuts off the internet entirely. Is this normal? I've had the same issue, replaced my first unit a week ago. Second unit was experiencing the same problem. It seems we're not the only experiencing this issue, I found a few other references on the net. I just return...

It ended up being a faulty Netgear DG834GV. The unit has been replaced and DTMF is now working for VOIP voicemail.

Thanks for looking into this guys.

Hi Axle, I have the same unit, my settings are slightly different. I'm not sure if this will make a difference, but at least worth a try I guess. When dialing 121 I get notified that I have two new messages, however when pressing "1" to access those voicemails nothing happens. It seems like the DTMF tones aren't being recognized. This issue still exists for me. Whenever dialing 121 I'm to be unable to select any of the menu options as my DTM...

Would rsync over ssh speed issues between two NSW Exetel IP addresses count as an issue you would investigate?

Since moving from ADSL1 (8mbps) to ADSL2 my average rsync speed has dropped from between 700 - 800MB/hr to around 200 - 400 MB/hr. The rsync is kicked off every night at 1AM.

Thanks for your help. I have checked the email address, which is correct. Then I checked my mail server logs while leaving voicemail and found that the mail from 58.96.1.4 was being blocked by the anti spam software I utilize (ASSP) as this server is using a dodgy HELO (localhost.localdomain). I hav...

Not sure if this is related, but I also can't access my voicemail through 121. When dialing 121 I get notified that I have two new messages, however when pressing "1" to access those voicemails nothing happens. It seems like the DTMF tones aren't being recognized. I have verified that DTMF is workin...

This is using Wifi wireless to connect my mobile to VOIP.

- No mobile charges apply
- VOIP call charges apply
- Wifi hotspot charges may apply (I use the wifi networks at my place of work, friends, etc. so no charges apply there).
