A neighbour had the same problem. Did everything suggested here but finally set up a Netcomm modem/wireless/router/ata and the problem is gone.

Call forwarding on my HSPA account isn't working either. The forwarding number entered into the web admin page doesn't "stick"; when going back via "configure" the number field is empty and the calls aren't forwarded. This seems to have started when the page was re-designed.

You need to de-register voip for forwarding to work. As long as voip is active it will not forward. Just remove the user/passwd from your ata or softfone.

Other side can't hear

Hi,
On voip calls the other side can't hear, me calling them or vice versa.
This started in the late afternoon. Several others report the same problem on WP forum also this afternoon/evening.
I lodged a ticket. Just wanted to let folks know in case you experience this too.

Changed dns to google's 8.8.8.8 and all works well. Must be an Exetel dns issue.

But, in other words, the call is not forwarded from server level, but from ATA level if you set it that way? It should work from server level, that's what I'm curious about and needs fixing. That's correct, it isn't working from server level, ie. entering the forward number and de-registering voip....
