Re: Withdrawal Of Free Included Services On Older Plans

Just checking... This does NOT apply to Naked plans, at least as far as VOIP is concerned?? you still get a VoIP service but I think you need to pay for your calls instead of the 100 free Can we get a definitive rather than a "..I think you need.." Isn't the free calls one of the largest attraction...

I found out from elsewhere to change a few settings, so've done that and all seems well.

Cheers

Cannot receive calls

Just received a few calls from friends via my mobile trying to get in contact with me. They said that the VOIP # had a recorded message. So I checked it out. "The Person at extension XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX is unavailable, please leave your message after the tone". I can call out to a variety of numbers bu...

Re: Naked DSL Questions

Have done this now, but shouldn't all this be automated? Isn't the phone service part of NDSL with Exetel? And if it isn't automatic (clearly it isn't), should there not be instructions emailed to the applicant? and perhaps a FAQ somewhere for setup? If it wasn't for other users like myself I would ...

Re: Naked DSL Questions

How long have you been connected? Exetel normally contacts you re your VoIP particulars a couple of days after naked connection. I still haven't received any information from Exetel. Pretty poor really. Can someone from Exetel respond? I did the above and signed up to a VOIP number. Today I receive...

Re: Naked DSL Questions

I don't think so as that to me is for VOIP only, rather than using the Naked DSL. It also costs for landline calls within australia, and NDSL has 100/month free, mobiles etc extra.

Can an Exetel person please respond.

Re: Naked DSL Questions

OK, so all has been switched over.

I'm now looking for where I can get a DID number so I can use the VOIP part of NDSL.

I cannot find it anywhere. I was under the impression this information would be forwarded to me after my connection changed.

Re: Naked DSL Questions

I know how to change plans, but you didn't answer my questions.

1) Based on the Ashfield exchange information can I be connected to NDSL 2+

2) The Telstra requirement - Do I currently fulfil this or do I need to do something about it.

Naked DSL Questions

I've tried searching but cannot seem to find an answer so here tis. I'm currently on the INCPHONE Z ADSL 2+ plan and want to change to the NAK2B plan. (and am out of contract by a year) I know I cannot keep my number. I'm on the Ashfield exchange and it states ADSL2 Number: 0297994662 Exchange Code:...

Re: Microsoft Update Issues

Yes it works

Gidget, I already had it in the modem, just in Vista I had automatic selection rather than a specific address range. Cheers JasonM

Re: Microsoft Update Issues

Cannot get to the download.Microsoft.com site either, but can the redirect. My point is that any download from microsoft is from the download.microsoft.com url which I cannot access. I want to know if this is a setting I may have inadvertently set on my modem, as I can access it using other peoples ...

Re: Microsoft Update Issues

Been away for a bit. Sorry guys but none of that helps. The problem appears to be that I am unable to access the download.microsoft.com sites which include anything you want to download from microsoft, so franpa I am unable to even try those choices. When I use a tracert I get an "Unable to resolve ...
