Re: VoIP account carries over to new Naked plans (ONA)?

* Downloads between 2 am and 8 am do not count towards your included plan allowance from 1st June 2010 That's what I meant by unmetered. There is no effect on speeds (at least, I've never noticed any), and anything you download during this period does not count towards your quota. Whether or not th...

Re: VoIP account carries over to new Naked plans (ONA)?

Thanks for the responses so far (Dazzled, Klaas). I assume VoIP carries over then. Would you also have the off-peak unlimited download from 2-8am? I recall that an e-mail from an Exetel staff about 1 month ago suggested that future plans would not have off peak download and usage would be entirely ...

Re: VoIP account carries over to new Naked plans (ONA)?

I changed from a Naked plan to an ON plan, and the VoIP DID I have still works, so I assume it carries over. :)

Re: MoIP "nominated landline" and "Exetel handsets"

On the Exetel website (MoIP), it states that "Calls to other Exetel handsets or to the nominated customer office land line numbers are at no charge." Please could someone advise how one can nominate the office landline numbers for calls at no charge, and how many office number s can be added? Also,...

Re: VoIP Numbers: Are They Listed or Unlisted by Default?

Maybe you just need to register your number on the do not call register. The difference between a silent number, and being listed on the Do Not Call Register, is that if you are on the DNCR, charities can still call you, and if you have an existing commercial relationship with a business, that busi...

If you're number is publicly listed, it will be showing up in whitepages.com.au ?

Re: Signal loss too high for ADSL1

When i moved to this house about 2 years ago I thought ADSL would be no problem because I am 2km from the Albion Park (NSW) exchange straight down the highway. I applied through Exetel and was rejected (by Telstra presumably) due to line loss too high. At the time I complained direct to Telstra tha...

Re: Chage peak excess download option

Mine is set to: OffPeak Excess Downloads per Gbyte: $6.00 This is a carry over from the previous shaping system, where plans carried a 2GB shaped buffer before racking up $6 per GB at full speed. When this shaping option was no longer offered, those on it, stayed on it, on the basis that they had s...

The "PENDING" would indicate that you've made the request, and it will take effect from the start of the next calendar month, as it states on teh change request page.

Re: Exetel Usage Block? (and other issues)

For the record though I believe I chose the "shaped" option on the old INCPHONE plan. For the old shaping with that plan, you would get a block when you reached your quota, allowing you 2GB 'buffer' and then you need to agree to the $6 per GB excess charge. You need to email Exetel to get it remove...

That's where it appears in mine.

Strange - I'd suggest logging into the help desk and following up on your ticket.

Re: Ticket No. 2774510 - Change Excess Peak Option

I have been trying to change the excess option to 0.50c/gb since the start of the month. The system won't accept the change and keeps telling me that only one change can be made per plan? Probably because the first attempt to change is still pending. Same thing happens to me if I try again. Does it...

It's incorrectly displayed - see http://forum.exetel.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=303&t=36280

If you use the old site, everything is displayed correctly.

Re: Ticket No. 2774510 - Change Excess Peak Option

Out of curiosity, when exactly did you request the change? I requested the change to excess charges on 1st May, and it's been showing as Pending ever since - my assumption is that it will change over on 1st June. Request Date Request Status Access Charge After Included Peak Download 2010-05-01 07:46...

What does it say on the old site?

I think the new site has a few faulty links and old/obsolete data, and I'd recommend just using the old site for now.
