Re: 1x ADSL & 1x HSDPA account does this qualify me for 2 DI

I have an ADSL2+ service and an HSPA service, and have an included DID for each plan. You do need to select your DID via the facilities page, as described by Lawrie.

Re: Naked users forgotten?

If I recall correctly, ForumAdmin posted recently that the Naked plans have no room to move, compared to the bundled plans, because of cross subsidies within the bundles.

Re: When will Mobile Meter work?

Which mobile service do you have? I found it a little confusing, as I ported my iPhone (voice and data) to an Exetel WM service, and, depending on whether I log into the member's facilities using my ADSL credentials, or the WM service credentials, the call history is in different places. I usually l...

Re: phishing email

When spammers send email, they send to just about every combination of letters they can come up with

You simply got some where they started with "b", and there will be a damn site more than 20 - that's all they cc'd on the one you received.

Re: A few questions. Line speed and partial month Data

... since changing from a 8mg plan to a 18 mg plan I have seen about a 20-25% increase in speed only. Just seems kinda low to me... As Dazzled has mentioned, you are not on an 18Mbps service, speed is constrained by line condition and distance. In your modem status, is shows: Rate (Kbps): 10354 892...

Re: Good iphone voip app?

I was using AcroBits SIP phone. But that has just stopped working. Ive made no changes to any settings, it just went from working to not-working one day. AcroBits seems like a good Voip App. I'm thinking Exetel have changed something in their Voip backend that is now creating an error with AcroBits...

Re: Adsl to Adsl 2, same line speed.

at approx 3pm when i found that the money had not left my account I don't know which bank you use, but my payments never leave my account the day the direct debit it issued - ie, Exetel issue the bills on the 1st of the month, and submit the direct debit requests to the banks. The request is proces...

Re: General question: Instant payment

In my humble opinion, providing "flexible" payment options, be it pay instalments in advance, carry some sort of pre-paid credit on their account, pay manually, either in advance or in arrears, offer other payment methods like BPAY, etc, simply provide the customers with more avenues to not pay on t...

Re: Changing my plan

It seems like all the options have disappeared from members facilities, since it had new interface. So when you log into the members facilities, and click on Manage Services, and select ADSL, you don't see a page with your plan details, and a set of tabs across the top, the very left hand one being...

Dazzled wrote: I'd prefer having the modem near the phone point and running a long ethernet line to the computer.
I second this - I gained around 500 kbps sync by moving the ADSL2+ modem to the other side of the room, where the phone point is, and running an ethernet cable to the router.

Re: Moip

For those with ADSL services, you can use a VoIP add-on pack unlike stand alone HSPA services. VP4 50 Minutes of VOIP Mobile calls for $5.00 per month then $0.15 Per MINUTE thereafter Pretty darn good. Hmmm, I must do a call usage analysis again, and see what's what ... There are certainly plenty o...

Re: Moip

So I've discovered that I can't change my Post VoIP 0 plan to an HSPA VoIP account, but the HSPA service comes with one DID, so I need to decide whether my call usage means that the savings are worth telling everyone I have a new DID and to update their address books, so they recognise the caller ID...

Re: Error changing voip password in members facility

I can confirm that changing the VoIP password works, as I've done it with my VoIP account. I have been able to change it to one i want but it errors and tells me to contact support. What sort of errors? I know I had to try a few, as the system requires the password to contain a least one number, and...
