Re: New Modem, but still can't access the net!

Do you get a connection at all?

If so what IP address are you being assigned when the modem connection is made?

Re: Internet connection down in Charlestown NSW

It would appear to be an issue with the optus IP links they are running poorly at the moment,

The Verizon link seems to have picked up some of the slack in the mean time, but I can only guess that until it is fixed (the Optus Link) we will all have degraded service.

Re: Internet connection down in Charlestown NSW

It would appear that the external Bandwidth dropped, and is still drapped.

The optus IP is currently showing only 900mbps of the normal averafe 2,444mbps

Re: Usage Meter for the B09 Plan

Thanks for that,

At the moment mine is showing usage for both peak and offpeak so that was the question. I would be ok if the offpeak was displaying a 0 but in this case it is displaying usage so I am confused.

Usage Meter for the B09 Plan

Hi Exetel, The usage meter for the B09 plan shows a peak and offpeak period but the plan is just a flat 90GB and then Excess usage. While it does not bother me if the usage meter is not updated to show just one usage but I just wanted to make sure I was right with regards to my plan just being a 90G...

Order Conformation Page for B09

Hi Exetel,

Just thought I would let you know I ordered the B09 plan yesterday, on the final page where I could print my conformation or create an email the "details" where blank, as in it did not display the plan etc that I ordered. The headings where there just no detail.

Re: Getting a Townsville DID

I dont think Exetel have any DID's for Townsville.

You can see the captials and regional DID's available here - http://exetel.com.au/residential-voip-overview.php

Re: Optus Fibre in our area soon

Fiber through Optus I believe is their HFC network, from memory this is on Optus Retail product only. Telstra have a large fiber network aswell for their HFC network which again I believe is their retail only network. They both commonly refer to this as their cable broardband network and i dont thin...

Re: Huawei E169 Connection Issues

I have had this issue with my stick as well.

All i did was uninstalled the software and inserted the stick into a different USB port and installed it again. Works again.

If that does not work I am out of suggestions.
