Re: Voip number cannot be called from some numbers

if the message comes up before finishing dialing it sounds like their carrier hasn't updated call routing tables to included this number range, have they also reported the issue with their provider, any feedback? Seems odd as this company are using Tel$tra as their carrier & my VoIp numbers have be...

Voip number cannot be called from some numbers

Just found this week that my voip numbers are failing when called from a business in Armidale. I tried calling my number from their phones on 2 different lines this morning including trying to ring my voip from the business fax line in order to bypass any possible problems coming from the pbx & in e...

This has been resolved according to our hosting engineers.

The webstats will be up and running by COB tomorrow. :)
Excellent, thank you very much. :)
Did the engineers by any chance give any indication as to what was wrong?

Webstats issue

I have just noticed the standard Exetel supplied webstats on my hosted web site have stopped working. They stopped on 12th December 2011. I am planning on launching some newspaper advertising in February & would like to have this working again before then if possible as this is when I would like to ...

Re: Business Plans

The only annoying part is the only calls that will be made on the lines are for our security system whcih are 1300's that are not included :( A little off topic but anyway this used to be the case until recently. Have a quick look at this from my website: http://www.microgateways.com.au/downloads/e...

Re: Choosing a new modem for ADSL2+

Thanks Dazzled for your input. I am actually quite happy with my modem as is at 11Mb/s. This is more a case of being so close to the exchange I knew I should get better than that which when I tested with the NB7 I had lying around it proved me very correct. So now that I know I can get 17+Mb/s I mus...

Choosing a new modem for ADSL2+

Hi, No problems here. I have this month changed my service from a Tel$tra ADSL1 plan to a Tel$tra ADSL2+ plan and all is now working wonderfully. What I have now done is a couple of tests with my old modem v's a newer modem & have found some quite dramatic speed differences happening. My tests were:...

Re: ADSL1 to ADSL2+ changeover

@ShaminG, Change over has now been completed & speedtests indicate I have an excellent connection. http://speedtest.net/result/1579585285.png My main interest with this upgrade was to get upstream speed so I can demonstrate some IP camera's, IP based DVR's, etc to potential clients as I get my littl...

Re: ADSL1 to ADSL2+ changeover

Hi, Just a simple question. Like the others in this thread I have done an upgrade from adsl1 to adsl2+ which became active at the start of the month. (November) I know I read it somewhere but for the life of me I cannot remember where now, so what is the normal (usual) time frame for tel$tra to do t...

Re: any issues with ADSL1 services this afternoon?

Fwiw, Looks like this issue has been my old router. I was doing some testing on an ethernet module earlier tonight when my modem for no apparent reason totally failed forcing me to default the whole thing just to gain access to it to see what was going on. Seems now after a complete re-do of the mod...

any issues with ADSL1 services this afternoon?

just wondering if there have been any known issues with the servers this afternoon. My service dropped out around 3.00pm. I rebooted when I got home around 5.00pm or so which reconnected but took noticeably longer than normal to do so. My VoIp service failed to reconnect until I had rebooted the Lin...

Re: VoIP Voicemail - playing messages on an Android phone

This seems to be a bug in android. There are a couple of apps on the market which will work such as I think Wavplayer but they seem to be more trouble than they are worth. What I do is I have CSipSimple on my phone and keep my home account set up on it as a 2ndry account without registration. When I...

Re: Unable to access DVR video streaming port

Am I right in seeing the 3G17 simply as a router with two connected modems, one ADSL and one 3G? The modems have different chips. ADSL does analogue to digital conversion in hardware. Isn't 3G transmitted in digital? Is that the important difference? I have actually set up in various different ways...
