Re: Unable to access DVR video streaming port

I tried shifting my MTU from 1492 back to 1450 & up to 1500. Result was no joy, I still gat no access to the video over WAN.
Moving the MTU up or down did seem to make my VoIp connections unstable, so I have gone back to the default 1492 for now.

Any other suggestions people might have for me to try?

Re: Unable to access DVR video streaming port

Can you still access the connection / dvr control port remotely through both ADSL & 3G? Yes, the control port allows control from both the ADSL & 3G connections on the same router... :? Also, I have to ask the obvious question: How sure are you that the port forwarding is configured correct? I woul...

Re: Unable to access DVR video streaming port

The modem/router firewall ( iptables -L -v on the modem telnet interface) will probably give the definitive answer. I jumped in & had a bit of a look but it showed me nothing that made any sense to me. ( Telnet, busybox, etc not my strong point though.) For an internal use experiment try connecting...

Unable to access DVR video streaming port

I have a little CCTV system at my home which I used to be able to access remotely. (2 ports used by this machine. 1 for connection / dvr control & the 2nd for video stream) The video stream from this remote access stopped working a couple of years back around the time I switched my ADSL from 1500 / ...

Re: edge and gprs on Android phone using MOIP

granny1, did the CSipSimple update allow you get settings->network->incoming/outgoing->use3G and have it stick? Hmm!!! I'm also interested in knowing that :D Fwiw, this is a problem with CSipSimple only if you try to use the 'easy configuration' menu after you have changed things in 'network' setti...

Server table updates

I am at the moment testing a 3G17 router for 3G backup to a standard adsl1 connection. All works very well, but just 1 thing being that the sip account loses incoming calls for a time period on changeover between wan addresses. Outgoing calls are fine. Just wondering what is the time period for exet...

Re: Date and Time Stamp on answering machine

Assuming you are living in NSW, copy & paste the below code to your pap2t units daylight savings rule; start=10/1/7/2;end=4/1/7/3;save=1 If you are in a different state, let me know here & I will run a little app I have written here to make a rule for your state & paste it here for you. (Also rememb...

Re: edge and gprs on Android phone using MOIP

granny1, I am assuming you are still using CSipSimple. I would recommend to disable both GPRS & Edge. The reason for this is that if you have a poor signal & GPRS is enabled your Sip account will register & calls will come in. The problem is then that the delays on voice make it absolutely useless &...

Re: international capability blocked

[ I beleive Baldrick is using a VoIP number ported from PSTN - so it's probably on a list somewhere from his former PSTN days. Unfortunately no this is not the case. The VoIp number I am using is 1 of 2 numbers I have selected from the user facilities, the older of which has never had any issue. I ...

Re: international capability blocked

No this is a different issue. These are auto-dialler calls. The company probably has a number agents who take calls, bu their auto-dialler rings multiple calls per agent in one hit. The delay is the time it takes for your answered call to connect to the agent next available. Thanks CorporateVoIP, t...

Re: international capability blocked

Just as a matter of interest, for several weeks I have been copping annoying calls from some service which just comes up as 'asterisk' on my android phone number display with just silence if I answer the calls. (Calls are being made to my MoIp number) Tracing seems to generally lead back to somewher...

Re: PAP2T just wont connect to server!

Just a quick suggestion for you to look at in your pap2 adaptor which may or may not help. Make sure you have NAT Mapping Enable set to 'yes', NAT Keep Alive Enable set as 'Yes', NAT Keep Alive Msg set as '$NOTIFY' & NAT Keep Alive Dest set as '$PROXY' Also make sure NAT Keep Alive Intvl has a value...

Re: One-way audio on mobile calls using csipsimple on Desire

Hi Baldrick, are you still listening? Hiya freddyzdead, yep I still lurk around here a bit. :) About the sound quality, I had this happen to me 1 day about a month or so back while I was in Sydney for a few days. Other than that, it seems really quite good quality wise up here in sunny Tamworth. Ma...

Re: LG Optimus One with no data access

I know nothing about your phone but have you set up the APN for exetel data access?
( Depending on which sim you are using the apn will likely be 'exetel1' although there are a couple of others)

Re: End of Life for Spa9000 replacement

thanks CorporateVoIP. I have at 1 stage experimented with FreePbx based on CentOS which did exactly as I would wish. Only problem with that is I have it set up on an old Dell desktop machine which I would not leave running long term due simply to power consumption of such. I looked at a machine from...
