End of Life for Spa9000 replacement

Hi, I have been thinking about getting a Linksys spa9000 to set up at my home so I can pretty much set my home VoIp & MoIp up to run like a little mini pbx system. Looking in the Exetel shop I see they are selling the spa9000 which I would think is perfect for this use. Unfortunately, when I go to t...

Re: One-way audio on mobile calls using csipsimple on Desire

I have had similar problems with the earlier versions. It seems to be some sort of a mix of registration times mixed with the codec mobiles generally seem to use. ( It seems mobile services generally negotiate to 711a ) Originally I found that by doing a fresh registration would get it working again...

Re: ATA purchase

You get all settings, not just the SIP stuff, which makes it a little complex for non-tech-minded folk to use. Actually Dazzled edited the right way, you simply only include the settings important to Exetel into the config file such as server settings, NAT settings, etc & make sure anything else is...

Re: ATA purchase

@JasomM a little offtopic, but just as a suggestion. Exetel could very easily provide a simple configuration xml file on the website which users of these devices could use for a very simplified configuration of these pap & spa units optimized for exetel servers. It would be accessed by you having a ...

Re: Can you turn MOIP off when not calling?

I haven't tried it, but go to your network settings in your CSipSimple application and under 'easy configuration' set it for 'Outgoing only'. That should stop the full registration / keep alive processes & will only become active when you wish to use it for outgoing calls which should save heaps on ...

Re: setting up moip ON NEW ANDROID PHONE

I went to the cSip wiki and saw that I should turn on STUN. I've done this and used the default "stun.counterpath.com". Is this correct or should I use a different STUN server? Enable both STUN and also ICE. This seems to make things just run that little bit more smoothly. My results using the stun...

No incoming audio

I am having problems again with my MoIp Android phone not getting incoming audio. when someone calls me, the phone rings, caller ID, etc is all good. It seems that when I answer the RTP stream is not getting through. If I go to my settings, just have a look & don't change anything, when the phone re...

Re: setting up moip ON NEW ANDROID PHONE

I don't know if it's 3G or not. can't search it says no network connection OK, it looks like you have not enabled your apn in this case.
