Voip over wireless broadband without computer , possible ?

I need a bit of guidance as I'm in unfamiliar territory here , what I'm trying to achieve is to have a working home phone using voip through exetel , over wireless broadband ( with good reception quality at my location ) using a panasonic cordless handset , without needing to necessarily have the co...

Re: Report Broken Links/Failed Web Functions Here

Not sure if this has been mentioned already but from this page - http://www.exetel.com.au/residential-voip-overview.php# and scrolling down to "Exetel Monthly VoIP Plans (HSPA – Mobile Telephone Handset)" and then clicking on "read on" gives this - Exetel can provide an HSPA service for use on your ...

Re: New customer referrals

I can't view that page LordS , it takes me to a sign in page in an endless loop , perhaps because I'm a pre-paid customer ?

Perhaps you or someone could do a cut & paste for my edification ?

New customer referrals

I recently saw an advertisement on for Exetel on t.v. which was fine , however the power of "word of mouth" should not be overlooked if Exetel wants more customers , I have been with Exetel for less than a week and have already got 2 new customers in the wings to whom I have recommended the local ag...

Re: yagi antennas

If anybody is interested , I'll take photos and put them up on photobucket. that would be good actually as I'm sure others would find some installation ideas useful No worries , these brackets were a 2 hour operation to make so they're not as pretty as they could be with more time spent , but here'...

Re: yagi antennas

" I see details for the Yagi are now available. I'm interested in getting one. I wonder if you need to buy a patch lead to fit this in the e169 modem and what decibel gain the aerial gives. " Patch lead yes , I believe mine came with the antenna ( supplied by local agent ) and the box states "averag...

When is a megabyte a megabyte

This is a curiosity question more than anything else re. downloads , just for the exercise I went to six web pages from bookmarks within Firefox , from the tower system using dial-up and then from the laptop using Exetel HSPA , same sites from the same bookmarks imported minutes ago into the lappys'...

Re: No need for phone line rental?

Worth mentioning on this subject is a Telstra service they don't make easy to find , that is eligible pensioners ( aged , disabled , maybe others ) can keep their home phone on their "in contact" service , no line rental , incoming calls ONLY except for the ability to dial out to 000. This is what I...
