Re: New plan, old sync speed.
On Jan 1 I was moved from an old 1.5Mbit plan to a current 8Mbit plan but I'm still syncing at the old 1536/256 even after unplugging the modem power and phone for 30 mins+. I'm pretty keen to see what sort of speed I can sync at after 5 years of 1.5Mbit so I'm just wondering if anyone knows when I...

Re: Samsung Galaxy Ace problems with exetel
I have just bought a new unlocked Galaxy ACE, put in our Sim from Exetel & when the phone turns on it asks us to select a sim service, Virgin mobile or Yes Optus. We have called Exetel & what they have asked us to do does not work. We just want to use the Exetel phone connection & internet that com...

Re: Issues connecting to some websites
Hi, For the last 4 days I haven't been able to access some websites from anything connected via our modem ie. laptops, 3 desktop computers, phone. I'm been able to access them through my phone using 3G so it's not the sites. Facebook, Gmail and my kid's school http://www.plattsburg-pschool.com.au i...

Re: No Optus Mobile Data connections this morning....
Nope still down, but the Whirlpool thread above indicates that it's still an issue and Optus are aware of it. I checked this again with Optus they say that they claim that it was resolved earlier this this morning , however they say that the issue has re-occurred since and they are looking in to th...

Re: "Line in use" message on my handset
Hello! It seems I am having exactly the same issue again. Cannot dial out from my landline handset, nobody can call in. I hear a ringing/dialling noise when I try to make a call. Please let me know if there is a better way for me to communicate a recurring issue. Thanks in advance. It would be best...

Re: International Roaming / Data - Bad Policy
Hi Udara, thanks for the response. I completely appreciate the situation that exetel is in, however; the policy that exetel has chosen to follow is different to that of Telstra, Optus, etc which means the end result is that for those people who travel overseas a lot are faced with jumping through h...

Hi Ben, We appreciate the situation that you are in, and whilst we endeavor to make our products and services as customer friendly and easy to use as possible, there are some restrictions and considerations to which Australian Telecommunication providers need to adhere to. Some of these regulatory r...

Re: No Internet - Exetel wholesale provider migration
I have been without a phone line (Exetel is the service provider) and with no Internet or email facilities other than on Telstra 3G from my iPad). Using my mobile I have rung Exetel three times and after 30 hours I've got no help other than to tell me I'll be charged over $200 if th fault is mine. ...

Re: Exetel Helpdesk - Ticket History Fatal Error
Hello, Under Exetel's Helpdesk - Ticket History - My Open Conversations, I am currently receiving the error indicated below instead of the normal listing of open and historical fault tickets. This error also appears when attempting to log a new fault ticket, which makes reporting the issue somewhat...

Re: Seriously slow speeds in the evening
No it was never resolved. I was sent an email to say that it had been resolved and I then had a series of emails with udara which clearly pointed out that nothing had been resolved and that the statement that it was resolved was an error on Exetels behalf. As per the conversation that I had with yo...
