Mine is still not right and im not wasting today trying to work with tech support over something that is still a statewide problem, its too nice outside anyway. There must be something they are doing differently than Telstra. The only thing I can think of was if AAPT used ethernet and not Telstra's...

Hi Godde,

You are correct passwords are randomly generated now :)

I have now recreated the Username and Password for your friends connection and I have sent an email and a sms with the credentials to the given email address and mobile number respectively.
