Re: 9pm-11pm WORST LAG AND SLOW SPEEDS

Okay, so I've been waiting a long time for this problem to go away, hoping it was just temporary problems with exetel but i guess not. For the last few months our internet has been experiencing lag and slow speeds from around 9pm-11pm most nights or when peak periods would be. At any other time, th...

Re: Can't get 3G (Orange Light) on E169 in Melbourne

Ahh right you are. I got confused with the expected colours. Turns out it is connecting to 3G - the 'cyan' is so close to the green! But hell, it's sooo slow! Your current bandwidth reading is: 323.00kbps which means you can download at 40.38 KB/sec. from our servers. is that normal and to be expec...

on CAP35 (with OCV200/35) and recently; within the last week, I have failed to receive txts sent by other exetel customers, vodafail customers and optus customers (none of my friends use Telstra for anything so I can't comment) with some of them arriving up to 48 hours after being originally sent; ...

Re: Voice to SMS service alter/cancel/change?

On my Exetel mobile service, a missed call gets picked up and converted to text then sent to my mobile as an SMS. A great idea in theory, if only it converted correctly! How do I switch this off and go to a standard voicemail system? (you know... message.. then I phone to messagebank to pick it up)...

Re: Intermittent service, variable service when connected

Hi all again. Have the modem back from Cormain and the consistency in connection is no good, however I have speeds that are 30-50% of what they were previously. It's been a long time since I've added a clean modem, so likely it's in the settings. I do remember that Exetel previously had a "play" wi...

Re: Service connection lost intermittently

take all that back, SPA8000 turned off and dns query failed twice with PPP connection lost once - all happened today between 1-2pm (hottest part of the day). May need to check temps and place unit for better cooling. Hi, Keep the modem out of heat is a better option. It is also good to monitor the ...
