Re: Slow every evening

Received email asking for further tests to be done. Have done this test and emailed you the results. Also was advised i may need to pay $270 when the tech comes out if he finds the issue related to my doing. Also Consented to this. Hopefully i wont need to prompt Exetel for a reply to this again. Re: Transition from IINET

I still do not have any phone connection. It is now over a month since we cut over to Exetels NBN FFTN service. I am getting really pissed off. I should not have to waste my time following this up all the time. It seems Exetel do not have any SLA's that they self impose for delivery of service. Thi...

Re: Cannot use browser

I don't know if this is related. We had the outage last night and this morning that happened in NSW. All computers on home network can connect again but one of the computers cannot access the internet. It can receive email so there is some connection but no browser of any type can connect. That com...

Re: Appalingly bad speeds over the past week

I don't see why? I'm confident it's nothing my end as I've done nothing to my account or configuration for a very long time. Is there a new time-out of 1 month on IP address leases? At this rate, in a couple of years I'll be paying $20/month to change IP addresses... I have emailed you on the same ...

Re: Is NBN an upgrade?

Hi all, I am presently on ADSL2+ and 1.4Km to the exchange which yields a modem (possible) throughput of 22Mbs sec, I got 14MBs sec the other evening on a speedtest to exetel. And I pay about $45 a mth with the phone bundled. Video Streaming services like iView and SBS OnDemand fail after 7pm, buff...

Re: order status

Exetel used to have a page a user could go to and check the status (progress) of an order. I have applied for a connection to the NBN and a modem, but I cannot find any such page to check how far along my order is. I do not even know if the order was ever received by exetel! I do have a reference n...

Re: International roaming charges

Could someone enlighten me on why when I travel overseas I come back with roaming charges on my account for the number 8880000000000 or something similar? I turn data roaming off on the phone and last time turned off data completely. I also turned off iMessage (I'm using an iPhone). I do not make p...

Re: Abysmal speeds on Fibre - South Brisbane

I have now lodged a complaint with the TIO due receiving no acknowledgement or response to the requested test information. Exetel's service has been pathetic and I have had enough after suffering these abysmal speeds for over a year now. We are currently investigating this matter with our supplier....
