Would've been nice to receive some sort of notification!!!!!!!! We have notified you through emails to the nominated regarding the usage that it is going to exceed the limit. Emails are dated to 28/12, 05/01 and 13/01. At what point do you begin to limit a client's access? This is according to your...

Re: Exetel issuing Sydney numbers to Maitland residents
Good evening I have been advised that the phone number is in the process of being changed. The larger problem is that these types of issues occur and someone else is left to pick up the bill. My next question is 'how often does this occur and how wide spread is this type of issue within this compan...

Hi, So email will be working despite not being able to authenticate on the VDSL line ? Your email won't work without an internet connection. If there is no way for you to receive emails prior to the service activation, please do contact Exetel to get the credentials. However the router you receive ...

Re: UDP Throttling
Hi I use a site to site IPSEC VPN. I manage the Exetel FTTN and FTTP connections at BOTH ends. Both run Cisco hardware vpns and have been bullet proof till I switched over to NBN on both sides. Now at about 7pm-11pm every night the VPN drops 90% packets and i have a suspicion this is due to Exetel ...

Re: Transition from IINET
I still do not have any phone connection. It is now over a month since we cut over to Exetels NBN FFTN service. I am getting really pissed off. I should not have to waste my time following this up all the time. It seems Exetel do not have any SLA's that they self impose for delivery of service. Thi...

I don't know if this is related. We had the outage last night and this morning that happened in NSW. All computers on home network can connect again but one of the computers cannot access the internet. It can receive email so there is some connection but no browser of any type can connect. That com...

Re: Appalingly bad speeds over the past week
I don't see why? I'm confident it's nothing my end as I've done nothing to my account or configuration for a very long time. Is there a new time-out of 1 month on IP address leases? At this rate, in a couple of years I'll be paying $20/month to change IP addresses... I have emailed you on the same ...

Re: Is NBN an upgrade?
Hi all, I am presently on ADSL2+ and 1.4Km to the exchange which yields a modem (possible) throughput of 22Mbs sec, I got 14MBs sec the other evening on a speedtest to exetel. And I pay about $45 a mth with the phone bundled. Video Streaming services like iView and SBS OnDemand fail after 7pm, buff...
