Re: Slow speed again NSW Sth Coast
Thanks Kaushalya. I noticed the difference immediately after it was done, connection now appears to be back to around 20 Mbps again & if it sticks to it's previous behaviour it will be good for the next month or so. Thank you for attending to my request so quickly. No worries :) Good to hear that y...

Re: Very slow speeds at glenfield park ( Wagga Wagga)
Any update on this, I'm still getting below average speeds. One day I would get around 8mbps then the next day it would be around 2mbps. Upload speeds are constantly around 0.89mbps. It's been 20days since I asked for advice on this matter. We will let you know the possibilities when we receive mor...

Re: Slow speed again NSW Sth Coast
This is an ongoing problem that seems to be solved for a short period by a port reset. Almost by the clock internet speed will drop at 5pm & be slow till about midnight then getting back to max ADSL2 speed. If you could do another reset I would appreciate it because it has deteriorated again since ...

Re: Crazy Usage - 173GB in 8 hours?
So they have dropped the days usage from 175GB to 88GB, remember this is in 8 hours, although the support tech was fixated on the 16 hour peak window. So 88 GB in 8 hours = 11GB and hour, that is 183MB min or just over 3MB a second, still impossible (I am being very polite here), and no further con...

Re: No service
The dropout issue has continued on my trips to the city and so my son bought me a new phone. I received today but found my SIM card doesn't fit. He got a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and it only takes a Micro SIM card. Who do I contact to get a new SIM posted out to me? I'm on the lowest plan and I hope ...

Re: SMS API Sender Name
I have a desktop app, with quite a few clients (10 or so) that contains SMS using Exetels API. (So they are Exetels customers rather than me) . I have just had a call saying the Sender name is being rejected, on all computers at once. The Sender Name is legal - no spaces, under 11 characters. Is th...

Re: Exetel South Brisbane Fibre
Since South Brisbane Fibre was laid and is owned by TELSTRA it seems that Exetel are being squeezed to discard their customers so that TELSTRA can pick them up before the NBN is connected. I am assuming the foregoing because Exetel will NOT tell the exact cause, plus since when does a fully service...

Re: Very slow speeds at glenfield park ( Wagga Wagga)
Slow speeds again at this time 6:18pm Saturday 19/09/15. On adsl2+ and only getting speeds of 2.43Mbps, this has been this way for the last week. The last request for this to be fixed there was a ticket generated by I could not find one. Please fix this Exeter I'm sick of resetting my modem. All mo...

Re: Hosted email
This has been escalated to our senior engineers to check whether there are any plans for that. Your reference number is 9452704.Perhaps I should rephrase: Does Exetel plan to offer IMAP for hosted mailboxes in future, or is it permanently
off the agenda?

Re: If I were to churn to another ISP...
Once your service is terminated, unless you have selected to keep your emails or webspace these services will also be terminated. All data and emails will be deleted and no copies will be kept. Thanks, I assume a fee will be involved if I choose to retain the webspace and email accounts, what would...
