Re: Linksys SPA8000 - ports rebooting H73720168

Have submitted my SPA8000 configuration and logs to exetel engineers to see if they can determine why lines 3-8 keep rebooting under firmware 6.1.3 ( this firmware version has been available for 2 yrs)

Applying for new ADSL2 + Tel service

Please advise I wish to apply for new ADSL2 +Tel service. The line activation fee is $60, but I have to have an "active" phone line. I have just moved into premises and the phone line has been disconnected. Who do I contact to get the phone line reconnected so that I then can proceed with the exetel...

Re: Linksys SPA8000 - ports rebooting H73720168

There is no way I can get lines 3-8 stable under the spa8000 6.1.3 firmware, tried with factory reset to default, didnt try the trunk feature. One thing that is different between lines 1-2 and 3-8 on the spa8000 is the ability to switch nat mapping off on lines 1-2 , it is always on for lines 3-8, n...

Re: Linksys SPA8000 - ports rebooting H73720168

With the SPA8000 downgraded to 5.1.12 FW and all sip ports set to 5060 Billion 7410 needs to have Sip ALG unchecked to allow stability, this is with portforwarding of 5060 to ATA. DMZ enabled makes no difference. With all Sip ports different on the SPA8000 for each line, Billion 7401 works with Sip ...

Re: Linksys SPA8000 - ports rebooting H73720168

After many hrs of frustration I have my PABX using my exetel voip lines via a tplink TD-8950ND ADSL2/Wireless N/Router ( cost $59 new ) and Linksys SPA8000 8 port ATA device. I couldn't get XLite 4 softphone to work both ways behind my Billion VGPR3 so I ditched it for a wireless N tplink router as ...

Re: Linksys SPA8000 - ports rebooting H73720168

Try using ports in the range 5061 - 5070 on your SPA8000 as the Billion 'V models' reserves port 5060 for its use Had to update the Billion firmware to overcome this. In the older firmware the billion would not allow portforwarding of 5060, but now it is does when its internal VOIP is disabled. Doe...

Re: Linksys SPA8000 - ports rebooting H73720168

My ports on SPA8000ports >2 have been unstable since been back at work this week. Only commissioned the SPA8000 after Xmas shutdown and upgraded firmware as thought this might have improved the stability of the setup.. Only using ports 1-2 as outgoing lines, and only added dial in lines to extra por...

Re: Do Multiple VoIP lines need multiple VoIP accounts?

Have a SPA8000 with 3 outgoing lines added to my PBX all with the same VOIP settings for each line. Easy way of adding three extra outgoing lines to a PBX. The PBX (Panasonic D816) is then programmed to select these lines first for outgoing calls. Have the existing PSTN lines for incoming calls and ...
