It has an entire blade of servers, it has more than enough processing power to cater for any/all requests; besides there is no way to see what's actually on it, it is all in fragmented bits and bytes. Yes, but I'm not suggesting "viewing" it. The suggestion is hitting the cache directly, or even, l...

Is there any reason the fax service would fail to send to our ADSL service number? I tried sending a test .doc at 1:40PM today and haven't received anything on the fax or in my inbox. I acknowledge I may have used the incorrect case in the password I set, but then, I haven't received an email advisi...

Don't they have 2gbps currently? Perhaps it's a matter of offering services that use that efficiently and profitably. IOW to offer the suggested plans, they would need dedicated bandwidth, which would not be efficient or profitable.

With only two people responding to the thread it's probably not worth the time? I guess if there was an option when setting up the blog (and maybe an email was sent to existing blog users) there might be an appropriate number of customers opt in. But would enough people use the browsing feature to w...

Are you using your blog?

I'm not much of a blog writer, but I'm a curious reader at times (i.e. JL's). Does anyone here use Exetel blogs intended for public viewing (and care to share the link)? I looked for a way of searching the blogs but was unsuccessful. I'd imagine this is intentional to provide a degree of privacy to ...

We'll look into it again once we get the basic service operational.
Can I ask an estimated timeframe of (1) The basic service commencing and (2) the gap between that and when you would 'hope' to have porting available?

It's a shame we didn't do that in the first place then, even though our old phones are very dated.

I'm sorry, are you saying it is possible or impossible?

Edit: I belive our problems are with our gateway/PBX.

First and foremost - I'm not incredibly technically minded. Second - would this gateway work with existing Linksys SPA942 phones? We recently had a Linksys system, including these phones, installed and are using ISPhone. We have had many issues and the service is still far from perfect and I suspect...
