Re: Mobile plans

Hi, I'm have a couple of Z15 plans, and when I go to manage services>change mobile plans, the only one on offer is the U39, far too much for me. If I go to order services, other plans show up, but there is no order button? We are currently in the process of updating Exetel Members Facilities with o...

Re: Change plan whilst on contract?

I think I was being a bit ambitious when I signed up for a 300GB plan... is it possible to drop back to the 75GB? Or do I have to wait until the contract is finished. I could tolerate saving $10 a month, it makes a difference on a pension. You do not need to wait until the contract ends. You can si...

Re: Changing DSL supplier in Tasmania...

Have received the email "Exetel will be changing its wholesale ADSL supplier on your broadband service in Tasmania", and advises me that "you can choose to remain a customer". It doesn't tell me who the new supplier will be, it most importantly doesn't tell me if there will be any changes to my pla...

Re: Please help with inquiry about which plan I should get?

So it's now the new month, and under Change Plan all I can see is the "ADSL2+ (via Optus) With Telephone", although I still don't want a phone bundled. However, if I go into Move Service, I get a lot more options, some without bundles, however it says in the yellow box "Only currently advertised br...

Re: Nano Sim

What is the hold up with the nano sim cards? Exetel still can't send one to me but plenty of other suppliers have them. Thanks They were sent out today, have you ordered one? I just called Exetel Sales, the lady told me that Nano SIMs are not available until 1st October for M15 plan. This is confus...

Re: Mobile activation charge

The public page says that there's no activation charge for the M & U mobile plans until 30/9/2012 but in the members area it says until 31/8/2012. Is this a typo or is it until 30/9 for existing members? There is no activation charge for M and U plan Standard and Micro SIMs until 30th Sep 2012. If ...

Re: New Plans

I am currently on an old mobile plan Z8 & received an email advising that plans are changing with prices also going up and we have till the 30th to change over. I looked at renewing my service on the new M8 plan which is the exact same plan as Z8 but there is a Plan Change Fee of $25 & if I will be...

Re: Please help with inquiry about which plan I should get?

Hi there, I am finally upgrading from the TELF plan to hopefully something in ADSL2+, OP4 is appealing. The only problem, the only options are under "ADSL+2 (via Optus) With Telephone" when I don't want to bundle my telephone with the plan. Any help? Many thanks, James There is a current promotion ...

Re: OCV200 Plan Change

I am currently on the OCV200 plan that provides me with both ADSL2, landline and VOIP I want to change plans as this is not cost-efficient anymore with the new plans but I have 2 questions. 1) If I change plans, would I still keep my VOIP service? 2) The member facilities don't have the option to c...

Re: Porting mobile number between exetel plans

Hi, I have a SIM with the CAP19 plan (SIM A) and another with the M15 plan (SIM B). I would like to cancel the CAP19 service and port the number over to SIM B so that i will only have one SIM. Can anyone give me advice on how to do this? I haven't cancelled the SIM A because i thought someone else ...

Just wondering if exetel will be connecting users to fibre in Bacchus Marsh? Do they contact current customers or do we have to chase? Cheers. Re: New telstra plans

We are now almost at the end of August are the new plans going to be offered to existing members? New plans should be available in your member's facility before the end of the month. Incidentally in my members facilities as i have both a telstra plan and phone plan it shows a $5 discount but this d...

Re: Difference between ADSL 1 & 2

I am currently on T8-120 Service Line Speed:8192/384 Plan $59.50 per month. I just found out that ADSL 2 is available in my area but unsure if it is going to be any faster than my current plan of 8192/384 on ADSL 1. The plan I was looking at is T20-4 which is cheaper than my current plan but unsure...

Re: Early termination charge

Great, thanks for that. As a bit of a followup, is there any difference in terms of speed/quality of service etc between the OP plans and the the no contract plans (AZ-1TB, FU-55)? No. There is no difference. Also, is there anything I'm missing in the following assumptions? If I 'move' my service t...

ETC is only $100 anytime within the contract. You do not have to pay the remaining months of your contract.
