Re: Forum double sign in

"It has to be thats way"? what kind of explanation is that? "John Linton made the decision many years ago"? Why? What *possible* logical and sensible reason could exist for maintaining such a user-UNfriendly stance? Don't tell me thats the way its always been, because John said so. That is just a cr...

Re: Who to contact in relation to new addition to phone serv

Hello again Any idea how long it normally takes for a couple of switches to be thrown at Telstra? I don't want to bug provisioning unnecessarily but it has been nearly 6 weeks :) Do you mean Caller ID/Calling number display / Silent Line (unlisted number) is still not provisioned as you have reques...

Forum double sign in

Is there any good reason why we need to sign in twice to the forum? Once with a username and once with our number if we actually want to post something? Seriously annoying.

Re: Who to contact in relation to new addition to phone serv

I have forwarded a ticket to our Provisioning team to get these enabled. Ref #8269488 Please be advised that there are monthly charges which apply for these services. Thanks for that, much appreciated. And yes, I know theres a charge, I nearly went ballistic when I realised how much more it was goi...

Re: Who to contact in relation to new addition to phone serv

One more thought... Where is the phone customer service located? The thing is, I *never* had any scam calls when I was with Telstra, and had a silent number, and a donotcall listing. Its not random dialling, because they use my name... so how did they get that information? The next phonebook has not...

Re: Who to contact in relation to new addition to phone serv

Not sure which email address to use for *adding* services to phone account? Is it billing? Been getting multiple marketing calls (and scam calls) since having these disabled :( Thanks in advance What services are you planning on adding to your phone account? Looking at adding silent number and call...

Re: Still waiting for a followup email

Apologies for the delay in action and any inconvenience this may have caused. Your query is with our Provisioning team under the reference #7962792. I have requested them to look into this. They should get back to you soon. Thanks, Angelos, all has been sorted now. I do appreciate your intervention...

Still waiting for a followup email

Its been almost two weeks since I sent a request via the internal contact system with regard to the additional services on my new phone account which have been carried over from Telstra and which, at the price I have to pay at Exetel, I do not want. I was told originally that these services would be...

Re: New ADSL2+ plans for existing customers

I think the thing that really ticks me off about the whole thing is the "coming soon" issue. Clearly someone made a mistake to put that in our member's account, but it set off a chain of events which has led to quite a few people abandoning ship. James said in Whirlpool that it was a solid bet that ...

Re: New ADSL2+ plans for existing customers

...t but as stated they are no longer attractive as there is now better out there. I dont think there is a lot of point talking loyalty, because most of the time it doesn't mean a lot. Exetel is a business, after all, and they have to make profit in order to keep being able to offer good plans. How...

Re: New ADSL2+ plans for existing customers

Confused 1. Waughy's last comment "on the new plans I'll have to pay $60? " 2. James said "Bundling a landline is also compulsory for these plans for existing users." Are the same plans & conditions going to be available to yr existing customers that are already available to new customers or is the...

Re: Change plan whilst on contract?

Hmm... on the website where you change plans, the only option is the AAPT one, and I cannot have that, being on Telstra hardware. Guess its email for me. A few alternatives might need to be added there. :-/ Please send in your request to residentialsales@exetel.com.au so that we can look into this....
