I believe that exchange is one of 900 Telstra only ADSL2 exchanges - no other provider currently has access to them.
Is this an issue that any ISP has raised with ACCC? Are Telstra "within their rights" to do this?

Any info on the rest of my first post would be handy as well.

ADSL2+ Available from Telstra - So Exetel as well????

Hi Peeps, I am moving house 8 March, and Telstra have advised they have ADSL2+ available at my new exchange - Redbank Plains (QLD). Can some advise if this means Exetel therefore can offer me an ADSL2+ plan - or is it more complicated than that? I would much rather stick with Exetel as I am happy wi...

Cool, thanks.

Looks like I miss out for now.

One more question, If I get Telstra to transport my phone number to our new address, do I still need to transfer ADSL plan??

Cheers,
Rod.

Thanks guys, looks like I am on Goodna exchange, guess I'll have to wait to test. By the way, when I move, to get naked ADSL2+ (assuming available) do I need to get phone connected first then disconnected? Is it possible to co-ordinate the cancellation of the old plan (ADSL1) and start a new Naked A...

The rates your looking at are for the ADSL+ Including Telephone plans, and $0.18c is the rate for local calls on this service. Very different than the Naked ADSL2+ we are discussing here, as the Naked ADSL2+ plans do not come with a telephone line, and you must use VOIP to make your calls. ok cool,...
