Re: Telstra still charging me after going NAKED

On the subject of telstra billing, but slightly off topic. I have a telstra account with zero products on it but with $1.63 credit that they have been sending me "Do Not Pay, you are in credit" notices for about 3 years. I figure that if they could not follow my instructions from years ago to move ...

Re: why my bills have $3 extra admin. fee without inform me?

An email was sent to the affected customers advising of the fee and giving you the option to opt-out. If you didn't receive if, check that your contact email is correct and that the email is not in a junk folder.

Re: Billed by two ISPs?

Of course you need to let your old provider know, they aren't clairvoyant, so please chase this up with them - they should see that there was no usage from your churn date onwards, and that you were no longer connected to their network. They don't need to be clairvoyant, they just need to process t...

Thanks for the quick and positive response.

Re: Automatically receive invoices via email

I would also appreciate receiving my invoice by email. Surely whatever batch process produces the invoices could check if the customer wants the email, and if so send it.

Re: Possible New Concept ADSL Plans

I talked him into coming over to Exetel and he has been trying to sign up for the Incphone Z plan for over a month but hasn't been able to as Telstra have been giving him the runaround with a service number address mismatch. Did they say if this was on the new Keenan/Siebel system? There seems to b...

Re: Government Content Filtering Trial

it's the idea of the government imposing itself on everyone's interwebs to target an unbelievably microscopic minority of users that gets me. Unfortunately so many things in today's society are driven by either the vocal minority or the lowest common denominator. Everyone must suffer so that: 1. a ...

Exetel have been accused of a lot of things, but not passing on savings to the customer isn't one of them.

Re: MRTG graph change

Maybe I'm wrong. They are now there under the heading "To see if there are any known issues with the Exetel controlled parts of the network please click here."

Perhaps I was blinded by the new link above. If so, I apologise.

MRTG graph change

I just noticed the MRTG graphs detailing each upstream provider have been removed and replaced with graphs showing "bandwidth usage in your State".

Is there any chance of getting the old graphs back?

Re: "Negativity/"Sh**storm" On 'Whirlpool'

I think instead of pulling out and pretending it isn't happening, that the Exetel reps should just avoid the trolls and herring them if they are particularly bad - after all, that is what herring is for. Regardless of what an Exetel rep stated on Whirlpool it would be ignored or contorted to fit th...

It probably depends on the email client the sender uses and whether they insert (or paste) the photo into the email body or simply attach the photo to the email.

1) The usage of each period is simply used up per month - if either period goes over 5 gb (with the appropriate warnings) - any aditional downloads are charged at $6.00 per gb - which must be prepaid before the service for that time period is unblocked. By 5GB per period you mean cumulatively for t...
