Chage peak excess download option

I've just changed over to OTC and would like to choose $0.50 per gb excess. But the user facilities say that "YOUR SELECTION IS NOT AVAILABLE UNTIL THE FIRST OF NEXT CALENDAR MONTH." Does that mean I cannot choose till next month, then another month to start. effective making wait for 2 months? tks ...

Peak period usage does not affect off peak period usage.
But If I get shaped in peak, Off peak is shaped, right?

So if peak is on 50c/gb excess, is off peak shaped after 60gb

Query regarding the new OT plans

Hi I plan on getting on the new OTC ADSL2+ plans.

I will be choosing the excess @ 50c /gb options.

So, If I go over the 60gb, and start paying 50c a gb, Is my off peak shaped?

tks

Re: ADSL2 Unlimited Plans (For Exetel Users Only)

Not sure if I would switch. It would be $5 cheaper than the plan I'm on now, but I wouldn't need to monitor my peak/offpeak downloads.

Would I still get the Pioneer Discount? :D

Re: I oppose the Port 80 caching

Really, I thought http requests will look as to have come from the caching server, instead of the client machine.

I guess we'll find out during the trial

Re: I oppose the Port 80 caching

Mainly because you end up showing up to a forum with the same ip as other people.
ip banning. multi account banning, authentication with crappy software which take ip address as part of session_id

I oppose the Port 80 caching

http://steve.blogs.exetel.com.au/index. ... hcing.html

In his blog Steve says
One thing we will trial in the next few weeks is port 80 only caching
I find the idea quite horrid.

If you feel the same as I do, please comment.

Fleet Plan and the free call to registered business landline

Hi,

I'm looking at the Business FLEET Mobile Plan and the FREE calls to registered office landlines.

Is the Exetel Calling card number(02) 8205 8300 a registered office landline? and can I set the free number to that? :P

ALso is the 150mb per month data across all phones or per phone?

tks
Joe
