Re: Help with Dlink 624 and Netcomm Nb6 please! =)

Hello, There are two solutions to this problem. I brought a wireless router which I could not get the device to work. So instead I got a full refund for the wireless router and brought a Cisco access point which was a little under $300 which has improved the wireless signal around my house by a larg...

Re: still waiting on my lite agent

Hello,

I believe that the agent department will be able to help you with your lite agent request as they are the ones who create the logins.
You can follow up by sending an email to agentsupport@exetel.com.au

Thanks.

Re: Frequent dropouts Brisbane

Hello, For a naked DSL you won't have a normal dial tone. However you should hear something similar to an engaged when you pick up the handset. If you don't then there is a problem that needs investigating as there is a chance that there could be a fault with the line. I'm sure at some stage the pag...

Re: moving house

Hello, It is important that the phone line is connected first otherwise your application will get rejected as you require an active telephone service first before applying for Naked DSL. I had a read of the relocation form and it says that's it's a requirement for an active telephone service to be i...

Re: Frequent dropouts Brisbane

Hello, Was wondering if when you pick up your handset do you get a beeping sound on the line? Also have the support people performed a line test with devices connected and disconnected to see if there is a problem with the line itself? A good link to look at is below regarding drop outs issues. http...

Re: moving house

Hello, You will need to get Telstra to install the telephone service to your property I believe these days they lock you into a contract with landline planes so have a look at the contract period when signing up for a phone service. Then it's best to wait 1 - 2 business days after the phone is conne...

Re: Setup Instructions for new Vodafone Cap Plans

Hello,

Could you try using smtp.vodafone.net.au to see if it works?
You won't be able to use smtp.nsw.exemail.com.au.

MMS should work by default. It does require an Internet connection I believe though for this feature to work.

Thank You

Re: Barely 2Mbps on ADSL2+, Close to exchange

Hello, The profile will be changed in a few minutes. Your connection would of gone done for a minute or so. Let us know how you go once the modem has come back into sync. The reason why the latency was increased was because during the testing our supplier would of changed the port profile which chan...

Re: Slow naked ADSL2 on North Sydney exchange

Hello, For the problems with PS3 I would suggest that you create a helpdesk ticket and ask for William C to investigate your problem. I believe that he will be able to resolve that problem for you as there is a fix available that I know will help you. The support department is correct saying that th...

Re: Slow naked ADSL2 on North Sydney exchange

Hello,

I checked your account and found that it did say that it was shaped for off peak.
This may not be the case as you have not gone over your quota.

If you are shaped I would suggest that you contact our support department for further investigation.

Thank You

Re: Slow naked ADSL2 on North Sydney exchange

Hello,

I believe that your problem may be resolved.
I've checked and found that you service is in sync at 10 mbits.

You looked to be shaped at the moment which would mean your speeds would be slower then normal.

Thank You
